I feel like 4w3 EIIs contradict a lot of EII traits, in terms of interacting with people and what matters to them, and their behaviour in general. Can anyone back me up or refute that?

I guess. I'm an EII E4 that nobody believes is an EII. I often get the told irl that I am mean and blunt.
Easier to type as 'whatever' than an EII enneagram 4 here.
I thought it was my type for a few years but now think NT is more likely or any other NF type.
EII descriptions don't 'fit'...I'm much more random (don't align with the pattern).
*Should add that enneagram 4w5 is much more likely for myself.
9 and 1 certainly fit them better but 4-ness won't necessarily contradict the type. The 3-wing does. 4 motivation itself mixes well with :Fi:'s depth/interpersonal prowess and :Ne:'s unconventional ways, and :Ni:'s ability to search for purpose. 3D :Fe: for the 4's dramatism, why not.
4w5 suits the EII best in my opinion, although reality differs and there's more variety to it as you already demonstrate yourself. 4w3, on the other hand, connects well with the EIE, IEI, and IEE.
