Two stark opposites in a row. :p
The Batman theme is probably rather Gamma, while the Animal Crossing one is rather Alpha.

I liked drowning them. I was an evil merciless god of sadistic torment.
I'm sticking to these retro games
Millenium 2.2 for Amiga 500 had its music from Mahlers 5:th symphony. I just recently learned that. No wonder it was so haunting

I usually don't jam out to video music, but when I do I make sure it's either adventurous, melancholic, or some combination of the two.

I like many more than these two examples, but I think people get the point.
I consider myself an expert when it comes to game soundtracks, too many I want to post. :(

Commando, C64
I can remember that. One of the first video games I had, for free.
Yeah, we shared the games... because we were school kids at that time, and none of us had money to buy these games.
I liked the high score theme of that game even more.
Rob Hubbard composed alot of music for games mid'80s. There are compositions of him I like more than this.
Absolutely remarkable what he accomplished, created astonishing soundeffects and soundtracks despite the limitations of the soundchip in the Commodore 64 computer by tricky programming it.
Lightforce
Crazy Comets
The Last V8
International Karate
A lot of his compositions for the C64 were so successful that other people have done remixes of it, most of them not in Chiptune style.
btw. I don't embbed the videos, because that amount of videos slow down the rendering of the web pages tremendously.
Funny and creepy

How could I forget about Monkey Island. Great point'n'click adventure, great soundtrack, funny storyline.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itjXIH7afDg
It's a classic video game.
Two of C64 game soundtracks I like very much, because they're melodic and are well arranged from technical pov (for the limited capabilities of the sound hardware).

You are making this really hard haha. There are so many games that have amazing soundtracks. I'm thinking that this usually depends on the mood. Sometimes, I love to put on some tunes from Minecraft, because they are really chill and bring out lots of memories, but sometimes I need epic music, like the one from Skyrim. When I'm under pressure and doing things like trying to sell csgo skins for paypal, I like to put on the most chill music that I know in order to focus. I don't get how there are people who can focus on literally any music like they are ignoring it.
G is definitely an EIE or SEE, most likely the former.Quote:
