my typings are mainly based on the person's mannerisms, apparent cognitive style and my impression of how compatible they are/would be with certain people, including myself. the values that they professes or superficially embody are secondary in my low iq eyes, which is why I don't automatically assume nerdy businessman = gamma NT, or tidy-looking, emotionally-intelligent, earnest person = ESI
however, i tend to give archetypal roles and speech content more weight when it comes to evaluating fictional characters due to confounding factors like the types of the actors, person(s) who wrote the script/book/etc., etc.
