Alright, since people don't really do interviews here, the forum is in need of a good, long questionnaire for self-use. The following is not perfect but it's a start at least. I started with my interview questionnaire and tried to add as many questions as possible without having too much overlap. If you have any questions you think I should add, please post them! This is experimental and will probably change in the future.
Instructions for use: please answer the following questions, preferably on video, in as much detail as possible. The idea here is to get a window into your thought process, what is important to you, how you see the world. Talk about whatever is comfortable for you to talk about, but if you give super-short answers then it will not be easy to type you.
To fill out the questionnaire in writing, please quote this post to preserve the markup, so that we can tell your answers apart from the questions (which are in bold).
The Extended Questionnaire v0.2
I already know my type but I wanted to fill out a questionnaire.
Describe yourself.
I am a young man with a modest beginning and likely a modest end.
What do you study or do for a living? How did you come to do that? What do you like or dislike about it?
I study mathematics and physics. I have always been talented in that area and I find it deeply interesting and useful. I like that math and physics studies the essence of natural phenomena. I do not like academia politics and areas of math that are not motivated by a problem set in reality. My favourite areas of math are necessarily dynamic, fluid, and infinite in extent.
What are your values, and why?
I value honesty more than anything else. I value sincerity and trust. Because I only care about the truth of things. I value trust because it makes one vulnerable. We give up our guard to trust so it must be very important whenever trust is given.
What else do you do on a daily basis? What are your interests and hobbies? Why do you do them?
I spend the majority of my time thinking. I read about philosophy and psychology. I have long conversations with people. I like having my mind engaged and I love to learn.
Describe your relations with family and friends. What do you like and dislike about them?
My family likes me somewhat. My parents are somewhat disappointed in me. My brother does not like me. They are my family and I love them regardless of how they treat me.
What do you look for in friends? In romantic relationships?
I only make friends with those I do not perceieve as a threat. Those who do not compete with me. Those who are not arrogant. In romantic relationships, I seek those who I can completely trust. Understanding and loving in general. Someone who takes care of their body and looks. An active person with a lot of energy. A fun and happy person who is passionate. A total sweetheart.
What conflicts have you encountered recently with other people? Why did they happen? Which kinds seem to happen on a regular basis?
People hate my independence. They see that I think differently and will aim to crush me for it. People who have their worldviews handed to them hate me the most.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends describe me as hard working and loyal. They think I am interesting. Very pessimistic. Bitter.
What do people generally see as your strengths? What do you like about yourself?
People think I am very intelligent. They say I am analytical and a deep thinker. I like that I am atypical, it makes for an interesting life.
What are your weaknesses? What criticism do you often face from others? What do you dislike about yourself?
I find it hard to do things out of obligation. If I act, it is because I wanted to not because I was expected to. But, it is a troublesome trait to have when duty calls. I dislike my low energy. I hate how easy it is for me to feel bored, yet I rarely do things that would make me not bored. I hate that I cannot give my all to things I want. I hate that I would sooner tell myself I didn't want something anyway than fight to get it because I deem it too hard or impossible.
In what areas of life can you manage well on your own? In what areas of your life would you like help?
I need help on pretty much everything.
What things do you find to be a chore? What things do you enjoy more than others?
Taking care of myself such as flossing, exercising, skin care I find to be a chore. I enjoy relaxing in a beautiful and peaceful place with mild or cold weather. I can then enter a state of zen and just embrace the beauty of the world. I enjoy being in a place of great atmosphere.
What goals, aspirations, or plans do you have for the future? How did you come to have them?
I wish to become a great mathematician. I want to seduce my lover so that he may stay with me forever. These are what would bring me the greatest satisfaction.
If you had enough money to live comfortably for the rest of your life without working, what would you do with your time?
Nothing would change except that I would not have to do jobs I loathe.
What traits do you find endearing that others might dislike? What traits are considered positive/neutral by others but tend to annoy you?
I love a childish enthusiasm that others may find annoying. I hate irony and sarcasm. They are low brow humour for people who think of themselves too highly.
What kinds of things do you do to manage and/or beautify your environment (your room, your house, etc.)? What do you think of daily chores?
I don't really do that at all even if it would make me feel better. I hate chores.
How do you behave around strangers?
I am wary and generally quiet.
How do you react to conflict? What do you do if somebody insults or attacks you?
I retreat until I can deliver a sure devastating blow. If someone wrongs me, I will not forget and I will always hate them deeply.
What is one common misconception that people have? Explain why it is wrong.
Science cannot ever prove something. But people believe that it can. One cannot ever be completely sure of the properties of the world because we did not create it. It is unlike mathematics where we define the rules. At best, we can get at what seems reasonably true. We can gain partial knowledge after assumptions with a degree of confidence, but we will never get full understanding.
What did you do last Friday?
What I usually do. Listen to music, revisit old sensations.
If you are doing a video you can stop here and/or choose from the rest of the questions as you like.
I'm not doing a video.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My grades
What is something you regret?
I did regret before, but not at the moment. I'm not regretful but I am very sad about my current situation.
Who do you admire, and why?
I admire Balzac. He worked tirelessly and courted his lover for 20 years until he finally married her. That is a dedication that I wish to have.
What's been on your mind? Has anything been worrying or concerning you? What problems have you encountered lately?
I am worried about my future especially regarding employment. I think that my relations with my family will only worsen. I think that I am not acheiving the full extent of my abilities. I am having troubles with my lover in communication.
What are your religious or spiritual beliefs and why do you hold them?
I do not have any strong religious or spiritual beliefs. I never cared about them. I thought they were boring and not worth my time. I am concerned about this world I live in and want to understand what this world holds for me. Not fantasy worlds.
What are your political beliefs, and why? To what extent do you care about politics?
I am strongly conservative. To the extent that it affects my livelihood and the preservation of my culture and my heritage. I do not care for the welfare of all of mankind. I wish for those I care about to prosper and only them because we all do though we don't all care to admit it.
Would you ever be interested in starting a business? Why or why not? What role would you play in it? What kind of business would it be?
I wouldn't be very good at it. I would start a small business though. A small store filled with interesting trinkets with the perfect kind of atmosphere.
What kind of work environment do you prefer? What do you look for in a job?
I am not sure. I do know that I don't want to go on endless meetings and deal with insufferable and incompetent coworkers. I want my performance to be judged by my ability alone and not due to others.
What is or was your favorite school subject and why?
Mathematics for the before mentioned reasons.
How do you approach responsibility? What do you tend to expect of others?
As long as I deem it important, I will keep up my responsibilities. I expect others to do so as well.
Where did you go on your most recent vacation? What did you do there? How did you like it and why?
I won't answer this one.
What were you like as a kid? How have you changed since you were a child?
I was very inquisitive. I was very happy and extroverted at first. But I very soon lost reasons to be happy and repeated rejections from others made me a near hermit.
What was your high school experience like?
I was valedictorian and well known by everyone there. My teachers thought highly of me and my peers did as well.
Talk about a significant event from your life.
I'll skip this one too.
Do you like kids? Why or why not?
Depends on the kid.
If you were to raise a child, what would be your main concerns, what measures would you take, and why?
I'm not going to raise a child.
Ever feel stuck in a rut? If yes, describe the causes and your reaction to it.
Yes. Not enough variety. I revisit the same experiences over and over until I am bored of it.
How do you see other people as a whole? What do you consider a prevalent social problem? Name one.
I think there's something to hate about everyone. I think a big problem is how prevalent images of sex are in society. Sex is being cheapened.
What do you do if you're not getting what you want? What approach do you use?
I don't really have an approach. I rely on my instincts to choose what's best next.
Are you comfortable taking leadership roles? In what areas? Why or why not?
Actually, I love to have leadership roles. I like having power. In all areas. It makes me feel like a man. Gets my dick hard lmao
