I'd guess LII simply because I believe Ti was one of his functions, and he seemed introverted, not only because of traits like his social awkwardness, but because he didn't seem to really try to capitalize on his findings in any practical sense, didn't set out to dazzle the masses and profit off of color photography, for instance, which he probably could have done. He just stayed mostly in his little Ti world exploring the nooks and crannies of nature.
That face looks like the face of an LII analyst with whom I work. When he (the analyst) was first hired in, he was clean-shaven, as in the first picture, but he is currently growing a beard that looks like picture number three. The pictures above just begin to capture the LII's static pensiveness.
So, perhaps there are only sixteen people in the whole world, and they keep bouncing back and forth in time to constitute the entire population of the Earth.
He's ILI-Te in my book but let me look at more pix again to verify this. He thinking seems ILI ish with respect to describing electromagnetism: a series of rationalized datasets, THEN rules.
I'm back. I definitely see Ni in him.
