Merry types can build strong groups but are "weak" when alone
Serious types work poorly in groups but thrive when working alone

Hello
Can you clarify what you mean by "weak" when alone?
I'm a merry type and an introvert and I far prefer to work alone than in a group. When working alone I don't have to worry so much about other peoples' agendas and trying to accomodate them all. There is more freedom in working alone. Also I can concentrate better when I have quiet to think.
mmm eeemh yeah, definitely:
Rationals' first stage: decision making
:Ti: my own set of values, to benefit a group
:Te: public set of values, to benefit myself
:Fe: public set of values, to benefit a group
:Fi: my own set of values, to benefit myself
Rationals' Second stage: altering the environment
:Se: external, current (attacking someone/giving orders)
:Si: internal, current (feeding someone, giving sexual pleasure to someone)
:Ne: external, potential (spreading ideas)
:Ni: internal, potential (advicing :Se: on when to strike)
Irrationals' First stage: information gathering
:Se: external, current
:Si: internal, current
:Ne: external, potential
:Ni: internal, potential
Irrationals' Second stage: decision making
:Ti: my own set of values, to benefit a group
:Te: public set of values, to benefit myself
:Fe: public set of values, to benefit a group
:Fi: my own set of values, to benefit myself
I agree the Perceiving functions can best be linked with information gathering, and Judging with decision making. Just I don't reall click with the rest:
1. To my understanding, "current" is Bodies, that is basically the definition of it.
2. Bodies/Fields is not necessarily something external/internal of you or something else. It is the cognitive function - as in conscience - that gives us the thoughts about something that is, right now, exists, is instanced, or happens. Its counterpart, Fields, is about things in general, properties & stuff. It is hard to explain this to all the types, unless very verbosely or they are well prepared about these concepts. IMO Extroverts generally have this tendency to "instance" things, anyway, when they think about them, visualise, imagine them as if they happen - and yes, even if this approach rather pertains to Internal Bodies (Ne, Fe), it is the best thing that can be used by Exernal Bodies-led types (Te, Se) - Role function. Introverts, on the contrary, think of them in general, formal terms.
3. I don't know why you tied the Rational IEs with group or individual thinking. I think they are not directly related, it's just arbitrary choice.
Last but not least, I really don't relate to your clichéistic associations of the IEs - Si with sexual pleasure and Se with aggression or domination - are you serious? Stop sensualizing the Delta ST, for the least.
:Ti: and :Fi: create their own rules. :Ti: people are usually "fair" and :Fi: people are usually "selfish" in my opinion. :Fi: people thrive because they always want to get their way
:Fe: and :Te: do not create their own rules, they follow the ones that already exist. :Te: follow legal codes, handbooks, etc. :Fe: follow "popular culture"
