Tim is a mystery to me I think he's a :Ti: type.
Si-SEI 9w8 + sx last
I agree with sx last. I'm leaning sp/so. During the last episode of Project Runway, a designer snapped a picture of a couple kissing on the streets of NYC as inspiration for her outfit, and Tim exclaimed, "Good heavens!" at their apparently wild behavior. Also, I read that he's been celibate for 30 years due to fear of contracting HIV...
I was thinking 1w9 for him, the rest I have no idea about. Well sx last is obvious lol. He has to be some sort of IJ.
Yeah, at first I wanted to say LSI, but then again he seems waaay too soft for Se ego. And I don't think he's an ethical type, although he emotes quite a bit . So LII makes the most sense. Dammit, gays always throw me off :) He has to be an identical of Mitchell from Modern family lol.
Is EII out of the question?
I used to think he could be INFj, then ppl started coming up with SEI, which could work. He's so . . . stiff for irrational, though.
Regardless, I've been a big fan of his, watched all his shows, read all his stuff. He is soooo ethical > logical.
His central concern about clothing is that we dress well to show respect to other people. He also wants the wearer to feel good about him- or herself. He gossips. He's a stickler for etiquette. He makes big decisions based on his feelings about people. Where is the T to justify some of the typings here?
@point, I used to know an INFj (my then-landlord) who had been in a bad marriage and just wouldn't date or get involved with another man. She was pretty, smart, in her forties. She focused on psychology and horses.
I happen to think this is very LII.
He talks about truth a lot in the first video. LII have :Fi: role still and the super ego is an area of "I must". Role function expression is the situational bold contact function. It is often how individuals interact with others socially. I mean Kant the LII is all about moral imperative and such.
I do think he's a contact subtype. This would be accentuated :Ne: :Ti: for EII or :Ne: :Fi: for LII.
Given EII/LII are look-alikes, I probably need to analyze cog styles to get the exact typing.
I just haven't seen any LIIs who get teary-eyed over small interpersonal matters and talk about feelings aaaaaallllll the time and counsel people through their relational woes and rarely discuss anything on the level of ideas. I really like LIIs, btw, and don't wish to trade on stereotypes about them, but that typing seems like a poor fit.
A poor fit -- get it? :crispy:
so/sp 1w9 - that diffuseness/sleepiness is a marker for the 9-wing afaik
he is rather diplomatic for an IxTx, very measured with his speech, so I was thinking EII-Fi could be it (from the first interview: "there is a child-like enthusiasm about you") else some other IxFx type
i had him as an Embarrassing Identical in an ancient self started thread
edit, when i was still intj
EII
