If anyone wants to group the vids in this post to sx/sp, feel free to, but I'd leave sp/sx wide open. I saw huge similarities with a more sx/sp leaning Soundgarden vid, in which an inescapable cosmic force (sp/so) destroys artifice and babbitry (so/sp) to restore a natural equilibrium (syn-flow). First Sponge vid has a dirtier and more escapable tornado (more sp/sx) going up against an earthier and more conservative social setting (more sp/so), and it's a bit harder to tell what's getting symphathized with more (the Soundgarden vid was obvious).

Edit: Better question: Why were my posts from other threads moved to sp/sx? I didn't post them here for a reason. Some were "liked" just where they were? This is really strange.

I saw a description of how to tell sx/sp from sp/sx on another site and I could totally relate to what they posted. The way he says it is probably the best explanation I have read so far. I see he is a 4 too so that might be why I resonated.

I've heard that there is a deep conflict between these two variants like a push and pull and a war within oneself. They contradict each other in a way and may have a tumultuous inside. Sp wants to make sure itself is okay, while Sx is constantly looking for something to merge with and throw itself into completely - which in theory could break it or strengthen it. Sx will want to throw itself into the storm for meaning and something compelling to complete it. Sx is often thought at all or nothing thinking. Sp is concerned about making sure everything is stable for itself and then later others. Sp is self and self needs first. Sp is contained. Sx is more about searching for something to bring itself together. It's constantly seeking something out to complete itself. I imagine both variants would feel conflicted at their core because they are so different. One would pull more in on itself (Sp/Sx) and be concerned about itself, while one would be more concerned and compelled with finding meaning for itself and what it wants (Sx/Sp). I imagine both variants would be more subdued then those who have a social variant to them. Sp+Sx may be more self oriented and self contained.

I've seen some discussions on the topic of whether sp/sx has some tendency towards pornography, i.e. an sp need hiding behind the sx creative/outwardly projected instinct. IME I wouldn't say this holds up.
