This is very interesting. I think the first couple is ESI-LIE (Annie and Ben), and they scored high on intimacy and neural compatibility and not so high on hot passionate sex. I don't know how much one can generalize from this example, but I was in a marriage (not to an ESI, but to an SLI) and we were both completely intellectually compatible and loyal to each other, and the sex was OK but not great. Yep, thanks! We have to evils converging here, gender roles and racism. It also reveals a certain "attraction value = human worth" double standard. As the second guy from the left said, the problem goes deeper, we shouldn't work on discrimination issues so a group of people can feel hot, justice is something greater.
