Just interested in suggestions, mainly for IV comparisons. I say famous because I'd be interested in watching a few interviews.

Kevin Spacey!
Oh no, yeah this game is hard.
Don't most people think Natalie Portman is IEI? I think I recall this because that's why people decided that I'm IEI.

The only one I can think of immediately is Fiona Apple. I listened to her new album yesterday and I'm more sure of her being Ni-INFp than before.
All women are Fs so this should be a cakewalk.
What is this thread?
Everyone knows females only come in two flavours: SEE harlots and the EII wives of the LSE Master race.
maybe one of these days i'll find it a good use of my time to construct an argument for why i think fiona apple is ili, but i seriously doubt it.
i never realized when i think of celebrity ieis, i can only think of men, too. soz.
Yo-Landi Vi$$er.

I don't believe I have nothing else worth contributing to this thread. Well, maybe more pictures of Yo-Landi.
Hmm  I can think of a few possible INFp girls... heres a few below, I would post more but I'm only allowed 5, I had to take out a few. I really need to study more interviews and make a big compilation of reliable typings.
Ni-IEI (inert sub)
Fiona Apple (it's funny she's more nervous than the fan. She also reminds me a little bit of Kurt Cobain in interviews.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rNGUVFTY50
Fe-IEI (contact sub)
Gemma Ward!
Shorter vid for you impatient people/ slow loading computer lol....

Rita Ora? (I'm still unsure but I'm def picking up on identical vibes.)

Twiggy
Orly Taitz (ew)
Janelle Monae
Niecy Nash
Fiona Apple
Skrillex
My IEI radar is fucking wrong.
Nico of the Velvet Underground methinks.

Back when octo was active and posted up a few of her photos some noted how similar she was to Fiona Apple. Practically everyone typed her as Ni-IEI though. IMO VI is just too an inaccurate of a tool for typing, especially so within a temperament. I've been compared with Kristen Stewart in my mannerisms and bearing, for example, though I'm pretty sure we're not the same socionics type.
Famous female INFps that haven't been mentioned yet:
Tori Amos - IEI-Ni sp/so
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTzktkXS2_c
Jenny Agutter - IEI-Fe
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2gYDWza8N4
Claire Forlani - IEI-Fe sx/so
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOHeW6Es9y0
Dita Von Teese was listed as Ni-INFp on socionix gallery - quite likely IEI-Ni 3w4 sp/sx.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0tsfrswKnc
Demi Lovato? My Fe-IEI friend loves her.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7GAWGYbAjTQ
(I could also see Fe-SEI.)
selena gomez is an alpha SF.
Yes Demi is IEI-Fe or EIE... ? Possibly SLE as well but I feel quite similar to her and actually think she's really talented.
Lana Del Rey.
Allison Harvard!

I've been doing a random hunt for possible candidates on youtube:
1. Nancy Pelosi seems a clear case, although I may be wrong: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyoXUF3iSyI
2. Brenda Ekwurzel is a spokeswoman from the activist group "Union of Concerned Scientists", so I guess she's somewhat famous, although evidently not enough for an article on Wikipedia. She seems to me to be consciously trying to project a T-type image, so the typing is neither very easy nor clear.
Here with Bill O'Reilly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nmxt-J7jyEs
Here with a gentler guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1IRy3MEXgU
3.Barbarian Boxer seems like a possible IEI (but more likely EIE) to me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE_jGD5nZ6U
Oh I thought of another one just today. Pina Bausch.

She was pretty incredible.

I think your all wrong.
Definitely Portman
What about Marilyn Monroe?
I know some people have her as SEI but she exudes more of that unpinnable Ni-feeling.
Dita, on the other hand, feels more Si, just from that clip.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5s4M5Kx6yI
for some reason I want to say gamma victim for marylin monroe. Maybe I'm seeing some mannerisms and traits that I see in janelle monae, who I type LIE, but I'm leaning more toward ILI.
Maybe I just want attention for saying she's not a feeler.
Also, Asian tabloid media stuff: the battle of the two IEI's... over an SLE man.

Lyudmila Savelyeva - IEI so/sp - actress and ballerina

Haha, thanks, but I don't really see resemblance next to maybe Slavic features. She has an Audrey Hepburn classy ballerina vibe. But yeah, she could be IEI. And is very pretty, but a bit fragile for my taste..

Darya is strong soviet woman @silke -- do not compare her to these IEI scum.
Attachment 4705
Lol, Silke is also a strong Soviet woman :)
It's crazy how difficult it is to think of famous IEI women.
Maybe Carey Mulligan or Selena Gomez? But not sure...
Tilda Swinton seems ESI.
Cate Blanchett seems Delta NF or at least some Fi-ego.
Marilyn Monroe is some XSxp. Probably SEE.
Natalie Portman is XNTp, I think
Yo-Landi seems SLI.
I don't know the other women in this thread.
Fiona Apple seems IEI, though, so there's one...
Lady Diana, maybe?
Frances Larson - IEI-Fe
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzfV2xVsUKc
Updated typing: IEI-Ni so/sp - Cortney Warren
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpEeSa6zBTE
Cortney Warren - so/sp (a highly focused and determined stack -- she has great orientation to the public and she's animated&dynamic in a kind of deliberate and well-orchestrated cerebral way ...I hardly see any sexual energy in her)
Tilda Swinton - obvious cadaveric Ni type (Ip-Ni subtype), sp/so
Cate Blanchett -- Te/Fi something
Monroe - Gamma SF (Se-ESI)
Lady Diana - doubtlessly EII and evidently SO last (sx/sp). are u ppl cray.
Tilda is beautiful. :) I would guess Gamma though, like ILI. Reminds me of that monkey lady who is probably IEI.
Googled and found out her name is Jane Goodall.
http://img.timeinc.net/time/photoess...goodall_01.jpg
She is pretty awesome! I have seen a lot of her videos showing her work with chimpanzees (not monkeys :P). The idea of what she did is exciting and terrifying. I went to a road side chimp zoo once and some of them scared the hell out of me. I thought they were going to break right through their cages. It was pretty fucked up the way they had them caged so I can see why they were pissed off.
This guy has continued her work and now I wonder about his type! He reminds me of my ex both in looks (like twins) and mannerisms.
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d5...eneCussons.jpg
I even crushed on him for awhile. He is so brave *swoons*
Edit: I also find Tilda beautiful.
Not famous but the girl in these videos is IEI I'm like 99% sure. She is the guy in the video's girlfriend and he features her on his channels all the time
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEsMvCmDRb4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbIoZlJFbv4
this girl is most likely IEI-Ni sx/sp 9
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LQmwsBUD7Q
IEIs dey is so pretty. All my IEI female friends have this ethereal, adorable quality to them that's so easy to love. I literally don't know any IEI female that doesn't have that childish softness to them.
Natalie Imbruglia? (sx/sp)
http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/...e_2863380b.jpg
Lotte Verbeek - sp/sx
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeTRhA65-Pw
I'll get rocks thrown at me for this but I think Taylor Swift is IEI.
Selena Gomez is ESI IMO.
I think taylor swift is SEE and Selena Gomez SEI.
Jhene AIko is IEI:
Attachment 7578
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1Ypm5Ba7fo
I think Nicole (from the Pussycat Dolls) is IEI. Sounds strange I know but she is softer than she seems.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHuZ1VYJcr4
Asia Argento??! I think definitely Beta but not sure if IEI or not. Looks more IEI in her younger days. She really resonates with me, whatever type she is I probably am.
Attachment 7660Attachment 7661Attachment 7662
She doesnt have the soft gaze I would associate with creative Fe. She looks more like an agressor than a victim to me, especially in the 2nd picture. In her younger pics, she gives me the impression that her Fe is largely and naturally repressed. So ESI maybe ?
99 % of women in this thread aren't IEI... Instead either ESI or SLI.
I blame Ni HA and Ni Role.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rTQh7Sh3BE
This video nicely shows her use of Creative Fe, as well as her Se valuing in her understanding of "Endurism".
And her Club being NF is rather obvious. She's actually Beta. Likely Fe subtype of IEI.
Enneagram-wise, she is most likely 4w3 Sx/Sp, IMO.
I dont know about that one either... Seems like a very edgy IEE. The way she laughs at 0:58 doesnt look Fe at all (actually it creeps me out a little bit I have to say)
"The danger is that they can just as easily serve as a justification to stay in pain, to stay stuck in a situation where you do actually have control and you're not actually acting on that control *laughs*"
This sounds so Te valuing. Even if she is probably right, I don't think an IEI would use those words and methods to help someone with "endurism" or "escapism". I may be wrong but I picture an IEI being more listening and patient and maybe after some time trying to instill hope and force in the person. This way of expressing it seems too "brutal" to be Fe...
Here are two examples of actresses I think could be IEI :
Attachment 7664
Lucy Liu
Attachment 7665
and Michelle Pfeiffer
they both look Ip, non-alpha and Fe valuing
EDIT : I've just seen Lucy Liu had been typed LSI on another thread, that looks like a better typing for her
"Too brutal"? Se valuing can be "brutal" in their expression sometimes for "dramatic" effect, even if it is not strong Se. An Fe ego type with Si valuing would surely use "softer" language.
This is just me, but I believe both Lucy and Michelle are more likely ESI again.
The ones I have typed are Naomi Watts and Shelley Duvall. I'm surprised I can't think of more.
Shelley Duvall was sole creator of a TV show called Faerie Tale Theatre - which was pretty what you might expect, a collection of live-action fairy tales. She also starred in The Shining with Jack Nicholson who is often typed as SLE which seems reasonable to me. She was good at playing the scared-to-death, screaming type.
I had previously typed Naomi Watts as LII but I now think it is less likely. She had a close mentoring relationship with David Lynch, he was responsible for her becoming famous basically. She also described hitting it off well with Jack Nicholson at some awards show where they were seated next to each other.
Naomi Watts - INFP
Shelley Duvall - not INFP, mb even T type
Liev Schreiber - *STJ
> Would make for an interesting marriage to be conflictors.
They may also to be activators.
Yes she is IEI and also she look very much like a certain someone I know .. @Aylen
lol
She is not famous (yet), but I just discovered her through the YT channel of Ralph Smart ("Infinite Waters Diving Deep"), a fellow IEI-Fe.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tOYQziO3so
Here both of them together, (most likely) Identicals. :) Both are Sx/Sp, I'd say. Both seem to be Fe subtype, too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILfB_yXmr5k
Heather Hoffman mb ISFP
Hey, actually you're right, I've watched and interview of Michelle Pfeiffer and she is blatantly ESI. That picture had me confused, my bad!
And about the "brutality", I was referring more to the lack of Fe in her speech rather than to the sometimes very matter-of-fact/passive-agressive Ni-leading's way of speaking. Then again it is only my opinion.
Can you link the interview with Michelle Pfeiffer? I've always thought she was IEI, especially after her Catwoman performance.
OK, my turn to suggest an IEI celebrity. I think Debbie Harry is IEI, but only from VI. She looks exactly like an IEI I was chasing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MVddzc-5Js
Yep it's that interview for Michelle Pfeiffer :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFd9nLGlXMY
And as for Debbie Harry I had the longest time choosing between IEI and ESI because she exhibits a lot Ni in her interviews, like in this one :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhWvd5IP1Q8
But in this one, in which she is much younger, she seems SF and very Fe ignoring :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9__sABJmB2w
So I think she is ESI too, and a Creative one maybe.
I think I prefer SEE for Harry. If you look at what she's saying in the second interview, she's very comfortable with being creative and changing up her image and appearance, but has trouble maintaining a consistent vision to ground it. This implies greater strength in :Ne:, :Se:, and :Fe: and relatively less in :Ti: and :Ni:.
Kate Bush was Tori Amos before Tori Amos was Tori Amos:
http://www.progarchives.com/progress..._band/2107.JPG
I didn't remember who she was at first so I looked at some video. She is, um, I don't know what type. I could not see myself making this kind of video. She has a bit of gruffness to her. hahah
The video made me feel a bit cringey but over all I like something about her. She is probably the type of girl I was intimidated by when I was younger.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4E_tRGHj_lg
I really can't seem to pinpoint her temperament (my current interest). It could be IJ (ESI?) or she could be IP. If Ip I would go with ILI but I really know nothing about her. I have no clue. :D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P8xDDvijx0
@summerprincess, @Aylen, http://www.socioniko.net/ has Argento as EIE (possibly a Filatova typing), although I wouldn't consider that indicative of EIE>IEI :p.
It's his site, but it utilises various sources. The typings (actually "Portraits", but I don't think it is a VI thing) are said to be from Filatova: Personality in the Mirror of Socionics, 2001. As far as I've seen, the typings at Socioniko.net (at the footing of each type page) do not contradict the condensed typings in Filatov'a Understanding the People Around You book, and also, they both have the same idiosyncratic choices of people (not necessarily idiosyncratic in the sense the people chosen aren't famous, but more in the sense that it would be hard to believe that two independent lists would both chose such people).
The famouses list represents Lytov's own opinion. If he saw similar opinion earlier, this does not change the situation.
It was not about famouses' list. He could use photos of ordinary people typed by Filatova somewhere on the site.Quote:
The typings (actually "Portraits", but I don't think it is a VI thing) are said to be from Filatova: Personality in the Mirror of Socionics, 2001.
On the ILE page there is a note: "Подборку составил Д. Лытов (2001– ...)". If he'd just used Filatova's opinions, there was no this note. Below there is "Известные представители данного типа (мнение авторов сайта)" and then goes the link to his list of famous ILE. Filatova is not mentioned on that pages.
There should be famouses which are not in Filatova's books and probably some contradictions with Filatova's opinion.Quote:
As far as I've seen, the typings at Socioniko.net (at the footing of each type page) do not contradict the condensed typings in Filatov'a Understanding the People Around You book
The lists are not completely independent as Lytov knew opinions of other people about some famouses. Including opinions by Filatova. We may say he was under influence. But as he did own analysis of those opinions, but not just copy-paste it, - it's his list.Quote:
but more in the sense that it would be hard to believe that two independent lists would both chose such people).
OK, @Sol: you may be correct, although I'm not especially convinced one way or another.
I can't be incorrect in this question. :) Besides what Lytov said directly on his site, you may count the number of persons in ENTP part of list on socioniko (it's 43) and compare it with the quantity in Filatova's book. I also may to check for contradictions if you'll give me the list of English edition of the book, as I don't have it.
I do notice at least one difference between the Socioniko website and Understanding the People Around You: the former has Thomas Mann as EIE for example, the later has him as ILI. But I remember in the past seeing discrepancies even in a single publication by one Socionist, so that should be kept in mind
I do not have Filatova's Personality in the Mirror of Socionics book which seemingly has a more extensive list of typings than her Understanding the People Around You book (at least the English one), but I especially found it peculiar that both have David Copperfield as EIE (I think the stage magician rather than the fictional character?). They also both have Audrey Hepburn as EIE too.
The more significant is lists sizes. Filatova's books, which I saw, had much less persons than >800 in Lytov's list.
"Understanding the People Around You" is probably "Искусство понимать себя и окружающих". Russian edition issued befor 2003 has 17 persons of ILE compared to 43 in Lytov's list.
"Personality in the Mirror"'s edition of ~2001 has no famouses types list, but only some are related to one of 4 clubs (S-T, F-N, etc).
Without concrete data about twice larger lists in her later editions/books, it's acceptable to assume the lists were not expanded there.
I'd say (and I'm not sure) Argento is IEI and not EIE, in fact she seems more like something in between IEI/ILI. She's kinda like Juliette Lewis (who I don't know wtf she is either). There's a certain type of people that are hard to pinpoint cause they seem like a mix of Beta NF and gamma introverts and they're usually 6w7 (they seem to have a special force to them, like they're Se creatives or Se HA or something - not as airy, floaty like usual IEI's. Maybe they are IEI or EIE 6W7 (examples: Deb from Dexter series, the girl from t16t - @BurningIce, more weird Nina Hagen).
^That girl seems def logical to me
From an MBTI perspective, a number of people see Debbie Harry as ESTP, so I guess she's beta at least. Here she is singing "Over the Rainbow", seems to show how she uses body language and emotes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0Hd3uWKFKY
Edit: I should add that this is in response to the Debby Harry posts in here which are a ways up in case people forgot she was mentioned.
