anyways, the chinese government does not like that the japanese government formally took control over the senkaku islands near china and taiwan a week ago, so i'm guessing there was epic propaganda that led to all this hateful demonstration?
These islands also is claimed to Taiwan, but there is quite a few spats concerning these islands and other islands like Dokdo Island/Takeshima and the resource that's possibly there, namely oil or some other reason.
There is a lot of antagonism towards the Japanese in countries who were invaded in WWII and it's unlikely for this antagonism to be dampened in the near future.
The country most likely to benefit from this is Korea, which will get their cars sold and their electronics sold in China.
