My brother is clearly an Te-SLI-N and he is very strong. His strength is central to his persona. It is the arbitrator of the balance between his Si lead function and his Se ignoring function.
He prides himself on being "the cockroach that got away." (He is firmly Darwinian, and believes that the cockroach is the supreme animal of Darwinian evolution.) What that means is he tends to withdraw from Se related dangers. His behavior is exactly like an introverted perceiver as a result. He is like a scurrying cockroach. In fact, he brags about it. He always comes in and says something like "and then I scurried away..." The cockroach is his role model, like the Honey Badger is becoming for some people here on the forum.
Where does the cockroach scurries to? It is his Si. Si is related to the power to resist the elements and to control body functions, including the power to enjoy the inner body sensation of his muscles contracting. So he works at a water purification facility, where he uses his brute strength to stand in the cold trying to bust loose a nut from a bolt using a hand tool. His strength is his Si... or at least a good measure of it.
Imagine a goblin; he scurries away from you so he can return to his goblin labor of cutting trees down at midnight. Se is avoided, Si is embraced. You hear the goblin chant in worship to the cockroach, celebrating the roach and his power to scurry into the night!
Goblin = resistance to cold wet darkness, plus the body control to pound on things with muscular energy.
