--So I'm horrible at staying on a career path, everything is so unfulfilling and boring, I've changed mine atleast four times already.
What's something that you know of ESIs sticking with?

My ESI mom has done...
secondary education (math)
teaching piano
substitute teacher
Aside from that, she was mostly focused on her role as a mother. And she also volunteered a lot with the PTA/PTSA when my siblings and I were in school.
My brother was in the military and now does IT work.
my ESI sister has been a blackjack dealer for years and loves it. i have absolutely no idea how this would be type related, but there you go lol.
i think you might be better off using that holland test or something because it would be more personalized to you..i think going by types is probably a bit broad, or something.

I have worked under a E-6 ESI boss from more than 4 years now. Honestly Anxiety is a huge problem for him. I would say stay away from jobs where it's a Dog eat Dog environment where people try to take advantage of each others and everyone's watching everyone's single move. try to avoid jobs in the corporate setting, retail, bad customer ethics or and find work with minimal anxiety.
I think stacking does influence this.
If you are an Sx type you might want to go out to search and wander, hes probably Sx last and Sp in the first and sec stack. so he values calm and stable living more so than the former.
And if you say your boredom is a big problem at work. I don't know if you are seeking any sort of calmness and in favor to some more exciting ventures.

yeah, something calm in a small office setting. where i can make my own time-get shit down my own way, and still goof off every now and then.
get paid, steady hours, weekends, holidays off, lotsa vacation time.

Dunno, my girlfriend likes to work for state companies and similar stuff because the hours are steady and the job is secure.
However she complains that due to this security most people slack off while she wants to get things done.
However around here if you want a place where you can get a lot of things done then the environment will likely be cut-troath.
ESIs (and SEEs) can deal with difficult clients. They make good hotel managers, bank employees and such.
Free-range rabbit farming. You just need a peice of land, some basic skills & a bunch of rabbits.. they reproduce quick. Rabbit meat & fur is in big demand.

I wonder if ESIs would make good teachers? They can be kind of nurturning and are good with kids but able to keep control. My daughter's 1st grade teacher was ESI.

ESI should be in professions that require concrete things not theoretical; they make excellent physician, any field in medicine where they may have contact with other individuals; computer related professions, such as computer design, graphics, programing.

o.o hmm I'm good with computers...always have been also a pro at foreign languages. Sticking with that....but I also find repetitive and detailed work..tedious and boring....leads to me procrastinating like there is no tomorrow. Always wanted to get into alternative energy.
dentists and doctors quite often are esis and lses.
dentist is a horrible career for an ESI. i knew a girl who took that path and she seemed really lost with what she was doing.
