Hmm... I was gonna pick SFOD-D/CAG ("Delta Force") for myself, but in my personal case the 160th SOAR (A) ("Night Stalkers") might be more appropriate.
I will ask if I may lend my dad's Waffen SS suit.
Hell yeah, Ashton
What do you think of this?

I feel like Infantry is more fitting of EJ temperament, what with their being focused on a sort of "flooding" tactic and dependent on the same sort of constant balancing-control utilization that EJ functions work with. Elite units like Marines, Rangers, Seals, etc, which use fewer, more highly trained troops that play specialized roles, would be like the p sub EJs, having less overall impact and fewer numbers but a more specialized function (closer to IP "special ops").
IMO EP is more akin to bombers/jets (land warfare blah blah blah), that are designed to strike single targets quickly with overwhelming force and then disappear, although j sub EPs might be more akin to armor/mobile artillery, having the single-target high striking power with less mobility and more armor (closer to the stationary artillery IJ temperament but still offensive in nature). RPGs could also apply here, I guess, for major P sub EPs; I suppose the mean would probably fall somewhere in the realm of a Humvee.
Speaking on air war:
Blackhawk, Apache helicopters --> Ep
Stealth bombers --> Ip
Bombers --> Ij
Fighters --> Ej
Tankers--> ?
AWACS --> ?
In ancient battles, cavalry is the equivalent of tanks. However, cavalry was a last resort option, whereas tanks are the backbone of warfare nowadays, I think (at least in the video games!).
In strategy/tactic games I always prefer a stealthy approach with concealable units, sabotage, fighting behind the frontlines, ect. I don't know all common strategies but this guerilla style seems to be pretty effective. I also like to wipe out massive firepower with small hit&run attacks. Besides that, my second choice would be fast and manoeuvrable units with limited firepower similar to a Blitzkrieg tactic.
This thread is great.
