please attempt to apply Visual Identification in order to (approximately) determine my sociotype; thanks

I was thinking that too.
I'd say: SLI
-
Thanks. Perhaps I could be SLI or ILI. Or at the very least I might have :Te: in my ego block. I'm not sure. I'd have to read more on the subject.
-
What's interesting and seemingly synchronous is that although Socionics and Jungian Typology/Myers-Briggs et al. differ I've been getting ISTP as a result on the Personality profile I have on my facebook profile.
I wonder if re-posting will help.

I get devalued Si and weak ethics.
ILI maybe.
-
Do you think that taking most of these pictures is a huge waste of time?

Are they still dead or are they working now?
All of these pictures were taken in the past; the most recent ones were taken about two weeks ago or so.

Who thinks I could be SLE?
-
Is that what you think you are?
-
So far the current consensus is that I'm either SLI or ILI. I'll definitely read more about those types and their respective quadras, etc. I appreciate your perspective.
I'm not sure about SLE. Yet I've considered it somewhat. Yet for the most part I don't have a clue. If I really was SLE one would think I'd be more confident and less easily intimidated and not so fearful, etc. I don't know.
-
-
-
If he looks like Napoleon could that make him SEE or SLE?
-
Um, I wasn't saying that so much as a typing suggestion (I think napoleon is typed as SEE), just one of those retarded in-your-own-head things that make you lol.
-
I'm not completely sure what picture you were referring to. Was it the picture with the young guy or the old guy?
-
I guessed ILI before checking what others said, so that seems about right.
-
XXTj would be my guess but i really don't know
-
Yeah Fe polr seems obvious here. No chance of SLI, just not in the body language. So ILI it is.

I call SLI as well. (mayyybe ILI). I almost said IEE though so i'm leaning SLI.
You might coincidentally be MBTI ISTP and socionics ISTp, nothing out of the question there. . .The two typing systems dont depend on each other.

Yes, you are NOT ILI; I'm thinking either LSE or SLI; how do you maintain and manage your living environment?
-
I'm w works: I think you look SLI, maybe ILI.
I vote SLI, though, for two reasons: 1 - the phrasing of your thread title reminds me of something an SLI friend of mine would have written, and 2 - your username is "lazybones" :p
-
-
ILI > SLI
You don't have the physically relaxed vibe that SLIs have. The way you stand is a bit awkward and unnatural.

ooohhh! Good point!

ILI or more distantly, LII.
-
ILI, logical subtype.

I took that Mizami test and this is what I got --
Test results
ILI Your result
ILE These types might also be considered
IEI
LII
SLI These types are not very likely
IEE
LIE
SLE
EII These types are quite unlikely
SEI
LSI
EIE
SEE these types are extremely unlikely
LSE
ESI
ESE
So apparently a lot of people think I'm Gamma NT, most likely ILI. Then there are people who think that I might be a :Si: ego type, possibly SLI. And then there are the 3 or 4 other types I might be -- SLE, LII, IEI, IEE...
Regarding how I maintain and manage my living environment I'd say that I'm not too organized. I wouldn't say that I want or like things to be extremely disorganized all the time, yet at the same time I'm not that passionate about keeping things in order, and for me it would be like a necessary evil that I usually don't like to attend to. Nevertheless, in the (distant) past there have been times when I attempted to channel some of my "obsessive-compulsive" tendencies into (unnecessary) chores/cleaning, yet for the most part I've seldom been time-efficient (time management is not my forte), and some people have said that I tend to over-analyze or over-think. At home, I'm usually disorganized and random I guess... Yet at the same time I hope that I have some inherent penchant for organizing, it's just that it's not something I like to do too much on a daily basis. Even working at a library started to bother me -- when things became repetitive, mundane, boring. Perhaps I don't make adequate use of my strengths, skills, etc.
Regarding the username "lazybones", I guess it was the first thing that came to mind at the time. And I've been called that in the past, and I guess I do sometimes have a tendency to procrastinate or I don't always like to go out and the like. Then again there are other factors that influence my inertia or whatever.
Anyway, thanks for all your insights. They definitely help me reflect more on my type.

Oh, I was just kidding about the username thing, haha. Welcome to the forum, whatever your type is :)

Thanks. I guess I might very well be ILI.

I forgot to add, there's an interesting quote, and although it's from a book that's influenced by Myers-Briggs (since I don't have any books on Socionics), I still find the quote fascinating. Unfortunately, in Myers-Briggs, ISTP's and INTP's are considered Introverted Thinking types.
-from Understanding Your Management Style: Beyond the Myers-Briggs Type Indicators by Robert Benfari, Ph. D. with Jean Knox; pp. 19-20 [(Chapter) 2 - The Sixteen MBTI Types (ISTP and INTP): 'The inferior function for introverted thinkers is feeling. Their judgments are black and white, a characteristic of undifferentiated feeling. "You could compare the inferior feeling of an introverted thinking type," wrote von Franz, "to the flow of lava from a volcano; it only moves five meters an hour but it devastates everything in its way. But it also has the advantages of a primitive function, for it is tremendously genuine and warm. When an introverted thinker loves, there is no calculation in it." Unfortunately, the introverted thinker hates with an equal lack of calculation.
-
ILI is also my impression, you give off that deeply introspective, detached Ni matched with Fe PoLR type of demeanor
-
So it's official: I must be ILI. It definitely appears to be the consensus view. Of course I could still be something else, especially if there are any ILI's that disagree with this typing; yet at the same time ILI seems to be the logical choice (The Observer, The Critic...) ILI has been one of the principal types I've considered since I started reading about Socionics.
-
Well I guess it could partially depend on whether I get along better with Extraverted Intuitors or Extraverted Sensors. Unfortunately I'm not too social, and I don't really have close friendships in real life. Plus I've often been prone to isolating myself (for a variety of reasons, excuses, and past experiences in life) so I don't have as much of a life-based understanding of people as I'd like to. And I guess it doesn't help that personality tests aren't always reliable, especially Myers-Briggs tests. Just because a girl tests as an ENFP in Myers-Briggs, doesn't mean she's ENFp/IEE in Socionics. For all I know she's an IEI [Ethical subtype?]. Particularly since she idolizes Marilyn Monroe and Andy Warhol (weren't they IEI's/Beta NF). For all I know I might be some Beta type. Maybe not. It's hard to say. I still don't know how compatible I am with genuine IEE's though.
Ashton, if I am some :Si: beast, which one do you think is more likely--SLI or SEI? Of course that question might be sort of rhetorical since SLI already appears to be more probable than SEI.
-
Isn't Ozzy Osbourne also SEI? And what about Kurt Cobain -- I've also seen him typed as SEI. Yet at the same time I'm not sure whether I agree or disagree with the consensus typing of Courtney Love=SLE. Here's a picture of Kurt and Courtney:

I like them both, yet I'm not sure if it's relevant.
