I tend to prefer Math over English as I find it more logical and consistent than English. English, especially English Literature, can get rather subjective at times. During tests and exams in schools, I am more confident in excelling in Maths because I know that if I follow the standard procedures/processes, I will never go wrong. In English Literature, there are a lot of gray areas and this makes me less confident in knowing whether the answers I wrote is what the examiner can appreciate or is looking for. Furthermore, what makes Maths enjoyable for me is that I do not have to memorize a lot of facts unlike History.
