VI this guy from his war photos
-
-
He looks a lot like this LIE i know.. though he could be even EII.
-
is he your father? If you don't mind me asking.
-
The forth picture looks like a poster stand of what I would guess the "Vietnam war" in these pictures.
-
-
-
I remember those pictures :)
-
If that is your mom in the 4th picture, I'm going to say she's ENFj (just as a hunch)

So Poli WINS. :D
I thought ISTJ when I first saw him.
This is a bit off topic but I always thought of neil young as a ISTP, for shiz. ESTP makes no sense to me. Is that really the accepted type??
-
Never mind that last one there. Just watched a couple of interviews and ESTP does seem to fit him better.
-
I agree that he could be SeTi.
Actually in this picture, he looks somewhat like my dad, who's also SeTi:

Alas, I have no pictures of my dad, not on computer or otherwise.

lol
Your young dad looks a lot like a guy I work with that I think is SLE and your older dad also looks a ton like another guy I work with I think is SLE o_0

Sorry

My mom is on the left, then my dad, then me, then an ISFp friend of mine.
Again, this was after the fall semester of 2004

They're both reasonably friendly guys. The younger one's a little more brash and jokey and has this habit of whenever he sees me walking around he likes to yell, "Fuck yeah, Adam!" from his trailer. The older guy is a lot milder, but he's probably also just tired as hell (he triple shifts a couple times a week). I don't know him as well. They're both good at what they do.
And the nicknames thing reminds me of the SLE supervisor we had until a couple weeks ago. I don't think he ever called anyone by their actual name. He fit the way you describe your dad to a T. Probably one of the better supe's I've had.
-
Fedex. We all work in the shipping facilities that process incoming package stuff and send it to other facilities closer to where it needs to go. Basically we move and pack boxes into trailers. My ex-supervisor left to become a teacher.

That doesn't sound very much like SeTi, although doesn't necessarily eliminate the possibility. Sounds More like NeTi, or some other type that hasn't been suggested yet. Probably from alpha quadra, maybe delta. NiTe is also possible.
If I compare to my dad to that same description: he can be friendly towards people and likes to talk to strangers, his less nice than average, rather than mild/quiet he's loud and aggressive, he can be on milder mood but he's "never" quiet. He can joke around, he's not imaginative, if he made nicknames they probably would be insulting. He's not childlike. He might be skilled at his work, but he's more interested in getting results fast than in good quality.
VI isn't very reliable, so your dad probably isn't SeTi, although he has given that impression to some people from those pictures.

Maybe they do that some extent, but they are usually more or less insulting. In my experience other types make lot more nicknames. I can't right now remember any that my dad has made up, he never called any in our family of us with nicknames. I worked with SeTi, and he called this one girl Red Devil, but that's the only nickname he made, as far as I can remember. I used to have SeTi best friend, but all nicknames he made were insults.

I went to college in a different city than my parents live. I still live here, so the suffocation isn't really an issue. Again, that was 5 years ago. I've lived alone for about 2 1/2 years now.
I believe that my mom is an :Fe: valuing type.

The biggest problem I've had with socionics.com is their descriptions. I'm reading say INTp, and then the neighbor across the street, just as she sits down for dinner, suddenly hears out her window a bold shout of "That's freakin T.I.!"
