Subtypes in Duality Relations

No, it takes the most work to get started (<keyword for the not so observant). That's explicitly mentioned in the duality descriptions if you ever bothered to read them. Duals live in different worlds. The functions are on opposing ends- it takes alot to bring them together. Its not from just 1 example, so fuck yourself. Marriage stats are a terrible contention since only the very best relationships become marriages. But any hot female will have cocks flopping onto them like running salmon, not like they have to actually try to form a relationship... maybe that's your issue.

Well no shit, which is why I never said that. But relationships have phases, and the getting started phase lasts longer than just the first few days... unless you're really easy to get into bed, but for most people it takes time to get to that point. Even if you do wake up with your dual after a drunken fling and decide you're 'a couple now', it still takes time to build the trust and connections to really claim status of being long term.

It extends farther than that, all the way up until stable long term relationship status. You have to integrate your lives and build trust and all that crap. There are many strings of depth to relationships. It's not like the first string is the only barrier you have to cross. With duals its hard to integrate because of the different lifestyles. You are continuously brought out of your comfort zone, and the tendency is at times to retreat backwards. ANd I do think starfalls example works, her neurotic fear of the guy not working out in the long term is related to her information element Ni. Any other type would probably have not broken up for the reasons she did. She broke up with him for the most retarded reasons I've ever seen. You keep saying outside circumstances, but that's kinda my point. He's an extravert, he lives in that outside chaotic world which you keep avoiding. And you retreated away from it. You could of used your dual powers to heal him while in the relationship; gradually pull him down into INFp land.. now you're expecting him to do it on his own. I dont think it's gonna happen as readily as you imagine. You need to get back with him and let the duality grow. That's what heals the problems. And maybe you should examine your own inhibitions while you're at it. But hell, maybe healing is exactly what you're doing- maybe your relationship n ever ended and this is just the INFp-ESTp game they play.. the slow struggle of integration. All I'm saying though is remember you're half the problem.

Hmm I've wondered why it may feel like so much fun and ease but PoLR weakness still can't be accounted for well. I've figured that they both don't care much about it so live a normal unbalanced lifestyle that works for them, though one of positive energy. I don't think there's a huge point to eachother's PoLRs, the dual relationship is more about balancing out the dual function, which in theory is the weakest. Probably traces back to the internal/external, dynamics/statics of fields/objects opposites (picture a perfectly balanced person easily going back and forth between all three.)

True that. I guess that's why the PoLR and creative is emphasized a lot in descriptions, because there is a natural solution to that dichotomy without really emphasizing the affect on the PoLR specifically, but the demonstrative is barely divulged.
