Akra and I have been discussing it over pm. I assumed it was related to :Si:, and she assumed it was related to IEI. Is it type related?
I scored 14, and I'm SEI.
Sounds a lot like :Si: to me too. (Toss in a little "generalized anxiety," and I'd think that about covers it.)
Fits my ISFp mom to a T.
Me? -- Five out of 27, or something.
I scored a 19. I'm sensetive to noise, tecture, moods, and change. But I'm not shy.
I scored 11.
Sensitivity is connected with the Carefree-Farsighted dichotomy. Carefree (EN + IS) types are more sensitive than Farsighted (ES + IN) types.
There is a difference between (IEI+ILI+EII+LII+SLE+SEE+LSE+ESE) vs (SEI+SLI+ESI+LSI+ILE+IEE+LIE+EIE) and (IEI) vs (ILI+EII+LII+SLE+SEE+LSE+ESE+SEI+SLI+ESI+LSI+ILE+I EE+LIE+EIE).
I scored 19... I feel overstimulated easily and I've never been able to withstand loud noise for very long without getting rather irritated. I also avoid environments like that, which probably just makes it worse. I'm sure I could sort of adjust if I tried.

I'm not exactly sure what's meant by "overwhelmed" seems vague, I guess I don't get overwhelmed then. But there are strong smells that I hate, so maybe I would get 7 or 8, if I included those as being overwhelmed.
I scored 13, just under HSP status.
I scored 3.
16
11.
it's not Si.
maybe it's not even type related.
I got a 16.
Yes I'm highly sensitive. I get it from my father.
I got 16.
You have indicated that 12 of the items are true of you.
Yeah, you can tell by the pansy writing style she is IEI-Fe
I scored 2.
I think most of the statements are representative of a specific function:
I am easily overwhelmed by strong sensory input. Strong Si, although "overwhelmed" might suggest weak but valued Si (since I doubt a Si PoLR would even recognise this kind of input)
I seem to be aware of subtleties in my environment. Strong Se?
Other people's moods affect me. Fe valuing
I tend to be very sensitive to pain. Strong Si/Se
I find myself needing to withdraw during busy days, into bed or into a darkened room or any place where I can have some privacy and relief from stimulation. Not related to any specific IM element, although maybe INXxs would suffer from this
I am particularly sensitive to the effects of caffeine. Unrelated
I am easily overwhelmed by things like bright lights, strong smells, coarse fabrics,or sirens close by. Strong Si/Se?
I have a rich,complex inner life. Ni
I am made uncomfortable by loud noises. Unrelated
I am deeply moved by the arts or music. Fe (although could be Fi if a personal connection is evident)
My nervous system sometimes feels so frazzled that I just have to go off by myself. Unrelated, although again probably INXxs are more prone
I am conscientious. Unrelated
I startle easily. Unrelated
I get rattled when I have a lot to do in a short amount of time. Ni-aware/valuing types
When people are uncomfortable in a physical environment I tend to know what needs to be done to make it more comfortable (like changing the lighting or the seating). Si
I am annoyed when people try to get me to do too many things at once. Unrelated
I try hard to avoid making mistakes or forgetting things. Unrelated
I make a point to avoid violent movies and TV shows. Unrelated, although perhaps Ne/Si valuing
I become unpleasantly aroused when a lot is going on around me. Introverts
Being very hungry creates a strong reaction in me,disrupting my concentration or mood. Si
Changes in my life shake me up. EP
I notice and enjoy delicate or fine scents, tastes, sounds, works of art. Si
I find it unpleasant to have a lot going on at once. Unrelated?
I make it a high priority to arrange my life to avoid upsetting or overwhelming situations. Unrelated
I am bothered by intense stimuli, like loud noises or chaotic scenes. Si

When I was a child, my parents or teachers seemed to see me as sensitive or shy. Unrelated
I would have thought introverts would typically be more likely to be HSP.
Introverts typically are the ones who can't cope with change, I thought.
IJs especially, since IPs don't mind so much being galvanized by an EP jolt.
Other than that, I don't like external stuff screwing with my comfortable normalcy.
half of ezras list is wrong. it takes the right IM element, then attaches a wrong meaning to that element. Pathetic display of 'intelligence'
