I fail to see how that clarifies this question.
According to my understanding, :Fi: is how we view the emotions and feelings and needs and wants of ourselves and others. It is our understanding of these things. On the other hand, :Fe: is what we use to affect responses from others, including what we display as our own emotions.
To cut the long story short :Fi: is what is going inside and :Fe: how it shows on outside. So if you talk about your feelings it would be :Fi: If you show your feelings (obviously through emotion) that would be :Fe: which you cannot do in the chatroom. Satisfied with my answer? Is there anything else I can help you with?
I get your point now, thank you, but I'm still not certain I agree.
No, I disagree. :Fi: is not talking about your emotions. Where is that coming from??Quote:

Good relations — love, friendship, sympathy, an attraction, heat of attitudes, the sociability, a close psychological distance, kindly, pity;
Negative (long range):
Bad attitudes — hatred, enmity, antipathy, pushing away, estrangement, the unsociability, a far psychological distance, angrily, ruthlessness.

Topaz wrote (which rings true for me):
:Fi: does not like its emotions laid out for the public to walk on. It is subtle, removed, focused on principles and intergrity etc. All that personal emotion is reserved for just a few. Everyone else gets principled kindness.

Need.
Food.
Okay, how's this: :Fi: means the things going on inside people and :Fe: means the things going on around people that affect them (where as :Se: is more about objects rather than people).
so is sex :Fe: or :Se:?
 or :Si:?
:Se: :Se: :Si: :Si: :Se: :Se: :Se: :Se: :Si:
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahhaahahahhahaha
this makes no sense to me in terms of my life...
You're getting there. :Fe: is how :Fi: manifested to the outer world.Quote:

emotional apathy doesn't bother me... it's better than dealing with :Fe:

So would that also be why INFps can't hide their emotions? (being :Fe: dominant not :Fi: dominant, I mean?)Quote:
