nondrinker due to nursing. occasional drinker when not nursing.
I won't drink alcoholic beverages.
ATM I'm a non-drinker due to nursing. Before I got pregnant I was a pretty heavy drinker though. It's just something I enjoyed, socially or not. I'll drink again when my baby gets older, but not as heavily. I voted occasional drinker because both extremes kind of balanced out in my mind.
anyone wants to challenge me shot by shot, bottle by bottle can do so on stickcam.
I normally get a six pack on wednesdays and fridays and drink it at home while relaxing and cooking up something good. I'll drink the occasional mixed drink if I go out which is usually never nowadays. I'm really cutting down on the weekly intake as it reeks havoc on my moods.
What's the difference between occasional and regular?
I assumed that more than once a month on average means regular and voted for that.
Not when I'm drunk, just the 1-2 days afterwards. It has to have something to do with my blood sugar because I've recently switched from hard liquor to beer and whatever is in beer makes me shaky, moody, depressed and anxious. I never get that way with hard liquor. I thought switching would be the healthier thing to do but apparently not. I'm really trying to just give it up alltogether.
Non-drinker...just because it doesn't appeal to me in any way.
I've experienced this exactly as you've described, including it being worse with beer.
It may not be a bad idea to switch back to hard liquor in the meantime?Quote:

Has anyone tried Feckin spiced irish whiskey?
I had it at the banquet hall that we have our chapter meetings at for an association that I'm in. I asked for it "neat" and the bartender shook it in ice and poured it into a wine glass. *shakes head*
Regular drinker. :o
I drink more often than not. Not as much as I used to drink, though.
I'm a sucker for unplanned drinking....if i plan it ahead out or in....it loses its appeal very quickly. Also I don't like being asked if i wanna drink...i like being told i'mmmmmm gonna have one and that's that.
I drink occasionally, but "occasionally" probably makes it sound much more often than it usually is... I don't drink except maybe a glass every two or three months. Have never been drunk. Generally dislike the taste of alcohol, which helps.
There was no option for binge drinker. I guess I'll make it social drinker then. I don't drink often, but when I do I make it count.
I just realized, what's the difference between social drinker and regular drinker? In University that seems to constitute the same thing XD
I'm a regular drinker. Actually I only drink socially and on the very occasional free nights at home - that amounts to 7 days a week. :p My pick is gin&tonic or sweet cider depending on mood. I do drink pretty often, but I haven't been significantly drunk for a while now. Usually I slowly sip 2 drinks within about 7 hours so barely feel the alcohol at all. I like the taste of alcohol and I like how it relaxes the muscles but I really dislike feeling disoriented, so I am careful with the amount I drink.
I always get paranoid I'm going to get liver disease and die so I've made it a conscious decision not to go over a certain amount per week. It takes the fun out of it. I couldn't be irresponsible if i tried. Saturday rolls around and something comes up, nope! I can't drink, already had 'X' amount!
Do u think this makes me ISTJ, Loki???!!
Heh, no, an ISTj would probably just say "fuck this i'm getting smashed and make an ass of myself"
Besides, what ISTj would like this man?
...
Man, university is so bad for your liver. But it's so fun...
This thread should also include "What's your favorite drink"?
Straight whiskey.
Just the smell of Whiskey makes me dry heave. I'd have to say mine is the White Russian followed closely by the Bloody Mary.
I drink once or twice a month, usually three beers.
Wait, so why did you vote "regular"? I took regular as in at the very least, weekly consumption.
