Funny you should mention that. My best friend just sent me a cautionary story about not pouring water on grease fires. Apparently in fire fighter training, they pour a cup of water on a deep fat fryer and it explodes into a fireball 30 feet high. If you put sugar or flour on it, it could have the explosive force of 2 sticks of dynamite. Neat. :)
