I saw a feature of this guy followed by a review of the film on a TV show recently
his story was very very fascinating... my first impression, typing out of my arse is ISTp, "The quiet individualist". but that's probably wrong
I too would be interested in the more informed opinions
I read the book "Into the Wild" recently and posted this same question with no replies really. From the book, I got the impression he likes people but only in set doses and on his own terms. He's an idealist. Introvert, positivist. INFp maybe! :? I really feel like he was an intuitive and not all that interested in his physical comfort. Much more into his head and his ideas.
i found the story rather fascinating... and i thought infp also or infj, but i couldn't really see an infj giving up comfort for so long.
