There are some awful correlations here. 9w8 and ESTJ?
i could make most of those correlations work.
I could never, ever see a 9 that represented the EJ temperament, nor one that had Te as a leading function.

That's correct. But Ezra has a point. Type 9 is an ethical type in essence, though it is also the most clearly accentuated IP type in the Enneagram, so an ISTp would certainly feel some kind of similarity. There is no natural home for an ISTp in the Enneagram, but I would probably choose 5w6 as the best fit in most cases.Quote:
