ESTjs & Intelligence
May I remind people that the intelligence of the LSE is entirely unrelated to said type. Stupidity or dimwittedness is not a necessary criterion for an LSE. It is simply a stereotype of a practical-minded, non-academic simple liver. Not all LSEs are like this. Many are intelligent. At the same time, there will be many unintelligent LSEs. There can be unintelligent ILEs as well as intelligent ones. The same applies to SLIs, IEIs, LIEs, ESIs - whoever.
-
Many people can forget that type doesn't determine everything about an individual which leads to a lot of stereotypes and misconceptions.
-
And while stereotypes are good on some levels for explaining the most simplistic of ideas, they are not good for this forum or furthering one's understanding of socionics. They simply stump it.
-
So, why not call this "Type & Intelligence" instead of "LSE & Intelligence?"
:?
-
Because I specifically wanted to make the point about LSE stereotypes; not stereotypes on a broader scale.
