Hey.
Have you noticed that intuitive types seem to complain of migraines more than sensory types?
I rarely get headaches.
I only get migraines a few times a year (usually in the spring for whatever reason), and when I do they're not *too* bad (I'm not like throwing up and stuff like some people do when they get migraines). Usually when I get headaches it's from not eating enough.
I get headaches all the time, but I only get migranes a couple times a month, at most.
My ESE step-mother and LIE cousin complain of migranes often. I can't remember the last time I had a headache. Guessing: gender correlation>type correlation.
guessing stress/allergies/aspartame > type > gender
No logical relation with type.
I'm intuitive and I've never had a migraine. I'd imagine it's more a combination of mental and physiological health that determines likelihood of migraines more than anything else, but then again I'm not a doctor so I could easily be wrong.
I think it could make sense that EJs have more of a tendency to have headaches, but I'm not saying that such is the case.
I never have headaches.
How well do you handle stress?
Emotional stress - very badlyQuote:

Headaches are often the result of active trigger points in one's neck. Muscular tension is often the result of handling stress poorly. I think EJs are most likely to stress out over stuff. Not all EJs handle stress poorly or get headaches obviously, and other types can handle stress poorly and get headaches, and not all headaches are caused by stress... but there could be a correlation for some.
When it comes to migraines though... Whenever I know someone who gets frequent migraines I ask if they drink diet soda. Their answer is yes more often than not. *shrugs*
yeah, I avoid it as well
Did you read my topic about the fluoride thing? :(
I have headaches and migraines all the time - I usually get migraines because of a dramatic change in temperature, like getting out of a bath, or because I've being working with great intensity for hour after hour while drinking lots of coffee. I tend to get headaches when I have irregular sleeping hours, or listening to discordant sounds :P for even short periods of time.
I get migraines and I stay away from pop, diet or otherwise. Occasionally I'll have a little if it has real sugar but I don't want any high fructose corn syrup.
Mine are caused by hormones and alcohol. I can have one drink, even one half a drink, and I'm in danger of getting a migraine.
i find I get migraines when I have to force myself to do something that I don't want to do. Like when I'm having fun I almost never get them, can go for weeks without having to use any kind of headache medication. But when I have a job I don't like I go through headache pills like it's nobody's business and often also get sinus headaches so have to make sure I have medication on me at all times in these situations.
That's most likely due to active trigger points in your neck.Quote:

I think I had one at work once...at least the worst head ache I've had in my life. Barfed and all that good stuff, layed in bed for hours without being able to fall asleep because it hurt too bad.
I usually don't get headache's much...mainly only when I've drank a lot and not had enough water.
And this is a silly thread :)
that actually makes a lot of sense as my muscles, especially around my shoulder and neck, do tense up in those situationsQuote:

I only have headaches if I have a hangover. Otherwise, I never, ever have headaches.
I'm getting a migrane right now... but I really like Snegledmaca's avatar for some strange reason.
