Welcome to my page of DEATH. It was the best thing I could think of to say.
Did you channel Dylan Klebold for your 90's costume?
Has he replied to your message yet?
Very nice avatar.
Hey, I think I saw you PerC, so you moved on to socionics too. What's your opinion on MBTI now?
My pleasure!
Same here, any one of the animes I watched weren't because they were anime but because they were genuinely good shows, hah. I was very very choosey about manga especially, I only read a few, and they were mostly trippy Silent Hill-esque mangas, so I already had a previous interest as the premise for those mangas, otherwise I really don't have patience or interest to just sit there and read manga. We're on the same page with anime selection too, it's gotta be interesting asides of it being a generic anime. I don't like the whole otaku consumer thing where anything that's so kawaii :3 is instantly gobbled up, it's weird to me. Check out any of those bands btw?
Alrighty sooo checked out the aforementioned bands, School Food Punishment is great, very relaxing with a sentimentality to it I guess? Kinda reminds me of a more chill version of Mouse on the Keys with a singer, from what I've heard thus far. Kagrra is absolutely beautiful, especially Utakata. Really is a shame about the lead singer. Amazarashi is excellent too, love both the instrumentals and the music videos they have, like the one with that hanging cloth puppet that started with three eyes, then they were tentacles (which is spiffy) and then wires then gears falling out of its face lol, definitely enthralling. I'll look into the lyrics at some point. Yoko Kanno is kind of blowing my mind right now, maybe my favorite of all your suggestions at this point. Got me sold on checking out some of those animes you mentioned haha. Learning the music on guitar would be rad Ever since the whole anime convo, I've dredged up more animes I've watched, turns out I watched quite a few and somehow forgot that until recently haha, ever heard of Kurozuka? Easily one of my favs. And Gurren Lagaan, I felt like they rushed the show towards the end but it was still awesome.
I haven't heard of any of those bands, but I trust your taste in music, so I'll absolutely get around to it I'm a tad hesitant about getting into a band who's lead singer just died though, cuz I know I'll end up loving the band and then I too will have to lament the loss :c I won't be able to understand the German translations, but I can bug you about the lyrics if needed right? Here's my list of Japanese bands that I totally dig; Mouse on the Keys, they're two pianists and a drummer, and it's literally some of the best music I've ever heard in my life. Blood Stain Child is just crazy, the two singer scheme they got goin on is awesome (a male screamer/female singer). As you can tell, I'm a huge Akira Yamaoka fan (Silent Hill music producer), he's done a lot of different stuff so I'd suggest checking him out some more. And, umm, the next two are more like...confessions rather than suggestions...ever heard of Kyary Pamy Pamyu? Yeah...I kind of love her music :| And the group Perfume, they're great. Kyary's all over the damn place, and Perfume's more elegant and, I dunno, refined? Something like that. Okay rant over I'll let you know what I think of the bands you suggested soon enough
I hear yah, Phaeleh can drone on a bit sometimes. Tides starts out really well with Journey though, it's far from boring imo. But in general, it's probably the most emotionally stirring album he's put out, I think you'd like it. As for getting shivers, A Different Time always gets me. From what I could gather, you're probably into Japanese music right? If so, got any favs?
