Oh, also I've been to NYC. And yes I would LOVE to dance with you.
Pageant culture seems like something I wouldn't want to get into. Well, come to think of it, it would be kinda perversely interesting. One day my ex saw two men enter a bar. They went to the counter, ordered a drink. As they sat, they didn't say anything to one another. After they were finished, they bought a new round. No words exchanged during those drinks either. During the third drink the other one asked: "So how are things?" and the other one quickly replied: "Did we come here to talk shit or to drink?!". That is such a Finnish caricature. I'm glad she shared this with me.
i love you
Oh, and I guess I could mention that I kinda vicariously like the sauna culture. It's as if people here are closet nudists and the sauna is their liberator. And I've never heard of men ogling at women's private parts or anything like that when in sauna. I think it's a respectable cultural taboo.
It's definately worth looking into. It demands somewhat open mindedness and maybe some sense of utilitarianism. I'm native. I don't know what I can say about Finland. Fairly socialist but it still works fairly well, although the bureaucracy is killing me. I guess there are some common factors in the culture that almost everyone share. One thing I like that we are very sparing about when we use the word "love". American's are pretty opposite. I love the language. It's one of the hardest in the world.
"I find that to be a very difficult question to answer." Me too! I often find it even intrusive. Damn, beatboxing. Have you been doing that for long? Summer is coming along nicely, even in Finland. It makes me drink a lot. Do you drink? I don't use shampoos anymore. I found it more nicer to my hair after you get past the stage where it's greasy all the time.
You seem cool and funny. What's up?
