how can empiricism be useless?

So you want to generate more information from others to attempt to better understand yourself? I'm still curious about your psychoanalytic bent on life. I ask because I don't get why someone would still be attracted to a psychoanalytic orientation.

What is it that attracts you to a psychoanalytic interpretation of people's actions and thoughts?
