Hey I'm working on an extremely simple map that involves a gauntlet of moving gate/doors back and forth at different speeds that can potentially crush a player its all on a bridge above lava as well, I'm figuring it could be the first level of a series of levels for a mod. Yea I'd want to develop an engine, but its tons of work, believe me modding an existing engine is already extremely complex and labor intensive. But I'd love to get a mod team together, if you learn the basics of source that is a good start. I can send you some half finished map projects.

Hey yes -- alot is doable in source, I'd suggest downloading the SDK Kit on Steam and walking through https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/My_First_Mod and https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Your_First_Map ... Valve is really nice to independent developers and is well documented

Thanks for moving it. Yeah, it's generally referred to as "Blake's 7," but the logo in the show actually doesn't have an apostrophe; that's why people know it both ways.

Kewl, as long as you find it helpful rather than hurtful. That was my concern. Like when I found out about NeFi, it helped explain a lot of the issues I've dealt with in the past, and helped me feel normalish finally. And now I don't worry as much about those things as I used to. Like all those stupid logic courses and books I tried studying, feeling frustrated because I was nowhere near being as "rational and logical" as teachers and therapists were pushing me to be. No more treating the emotional, moody side of me as a "disorder".

I hope that you can get some kind of similar peace.
