While the idea of visual identification or VI in application to Socionics types is often met with staunch skepticism, there has been a
considerable amount of research on the relationship between personality traits and appearance that demonstrates that such correlations do exist, and that people are naturally in a habit of making personality evaluations based on someone's external appearance and that such assessments are often surprisingly accurate.
