  1. Yes Taoist treatments have actually been of help to me irl, and buddhist meditation is helpful for a lot of people. Most Western religions don't have much practical use imo.

I guess I'd rather not go into detail about my expreriences though, sorry They've been pretty personal and 'weird'.

Thanks for the advertising advice! I'm a little nervous to use such off-the-wall advertisements, but I think you're right...I'm more likely to click on an add if it has some shock value.

That's true about Ti helping Fe to find the right word. Ti and Fe feeding into each other, yes Do you have any thoughts for how Fe supports Ti? Fe giving Ti energy to keep going is kind of the only way I can see it boosting Tii

Glad to hear your school is going well! It's nice to have a lighter work load as well. Hope you get the grades you're aiming for

Ahhhh pizza, amazing food lol. That sounds good, and that's sweet of your family. Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm glad you like Spirited Away too, it's one of the few movies that had as much detailed art as I would really prefer to see. Yes well I enjoy seeing ILEs posting on here, since I don't know many in real life right now xD

Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed the music, too! Yeah I haven't read anything by Dostoevsky either, but if you do end up reading his work in more depth, I hope you enjoy it.
  2. Your analysis of the video seems insightful; you payed more attention to the details than I did, lol.

I think I've heard that Enigma song; it's good. And I found the Goldfrapp song very enjoyable.

I haven't read anything by Dostoevsky from front to back, though I should. I mostly just know about him from a literature / cultural viewpoint.
  3. Lol. I'm glad you liked the meditation.

Same. I don't follow in particular belief system exactly, but I think Buddhism and Taoism are the most logical options. They also have practical utility.

What kinds of experiences have you had?

I agree about Lateralus, obviously lol.

    You're welcome about the complements.

Cool business model. I'd say that the best ways to advertise tend to involve doing something outrageous, lol. Maybe pay websites to host ads that have swear words or something that pushes the limits of what's acceptable. Haha. But basic logos and graphics are also important, especially if the business runs on a website and e-commerce.

I do think there's a relationship between Ti and Fe. They feed into each other. Ti concerns finding the best word or concept, and in the context of the "mood" of a room, as Fe would have it, choosing the right word means a lot. And Ti also means everything in terms of classifying the emotions of others. And I agree that we can decide to feel differently based on the logic of the situation, and feeling differently can help us persuade others, communicate, etc.

My school is going alright. I need to focus more, but fortunately my work load is pretty light this semester. Not too much to worry about.

For my birthday, my family took me to this place called Pizzeria Bianco. The primary location is in Tuscon, but I went to one of the chains in Phoenix. Some of the best pizza I've ever had. I recommend it if you're in the area; in 2015 a reviewer claimed the Tuscon location had the best pizza in the nation.

Spirited Away is awesome. Yes, I like Iron Man. He represents responsibility and innovation to me. I've never seen Black Butler. I asked if you've read my posts because I'm gauging how much attention you're paying to me and because I got a feeling, lol.
  4. 'Let the horse-shit of the external world fade from your awarenes ... ...just aknowledge that all that shit is fucking bullshit' -This is the most helpful meditation I've heard in terms of helping me take things less seriously, aweseome

I used to study Buddhism...Now I don't follow any particular spiritual belief system, but I have a fondness for Buddhism and Taoism

It's fine being skeptical of that stuff. I used to be pretty much a nihlist...I believed that nothing had validity unless we could concretely prove it, and that we didn't have souls or anything else 'higher'. It was sort of a protection against being naive and too idealistic. Then all these odd things happened in my life and I ended up finding out about energy, souls, whatever you call it...I've had my paradigm busted open and turned around many times, aha.

Country - . lol. I like the song Lateralus by Tool that you quoted in the music thread It's heavier than I usually prefer, but still very enjoyable.

Yeah, I like frills....no idea i was fitting the Alpha SF stereotype with that, rofl. The irony. And thank you for saying that about my bracelets My business is putting desings on mugs and t-shirts through gearbubble.com, so that's what I'm trying out. Right now I'm mostly designing graphics and thinking of the best ways to advertise. I'm also looking into trying affiliate marketing in the future. I wouldn't mind brainstorming buisness ideas, either

Big cities - yes, I love big cities too. You get more stimulation and inspiration from all the variety in big cities.

Ahhh really?? Haha well I end up saying "aww" all the time irl, I'll remember that for ILEs in the future xD I like to encourage people, also. That's pretty neat that you see emotions as like puzzles. I always appreciate when people try to figure out my emotions, since sometimes it's hard for me to see underlying reasons behind them (like we've already talked about). Recently it occured to me that maybe Fe stems from Ti. Like...Fe is kind of an emotion based on logic principles, and the person using Fe understands how to feel based on the logic in the situation. That's also the reason Fe is more manipulateable than Fi - the person using it can just change the logical view in their mind and decide to feel differently. Whereas Fi is kind of this intrinsic thing...you just value what you value. Hm, idk...what do you think?

No problem, I hope your school is going well? And did you get to celebrate your birthday?

Nope it's fine that you ask, I'm 23. But a lot of people assume I'm 16 or something xD I don't wear any makeup or anything, and I have a pretty childish face besides. I don't really watch movies much, but there's a couple anime ones I like - Spirited Away and the live action Black Butler movie from 2014. Wbu? I take it you like Iron Man? And yes I have read quite a few of your posts on here, any reason you ask?
  5. Ooh, I like your description of the meaning behind The Box. Actually I got pretty much the same meaning, but I had an easier time noticing the details instead of explaning the overall message like you did

In the beginning she looked formless, like a spirit, maybe? Maybe she's a metaphor for someone 'not of this world' who comes here and just starts watching from a fresh perspective (or kind of like Enneagram 5). The trashcan overflowing again and again suggests the theme of never-ending consumerism (like the greed you talked about), which does serve to keep humanity distracted from examining reality. Also everything else zooming past her relates to that idea. She smiled at the vine growing, which suggests that the small vine growing in isolation (independently) was inspiring to her. The TV said things like 'world.. damaged ...frayed...dust bowl' and then 'wake up' before she went off on her own. Then it showed another vine growing next to her, before she left, like she decided to make her own way like the vine, too....And I think 'monsters' refers to an underlying evil few and people in general - there's a small few (i.e. some corporations) that benefit from an unquestioning population, and there's the rest of humanity that keeps their eyes shut to what's going on.

Do you like Dostoevsky's works? I don't follow many philosophers...I used to try, but eventually I realized it was frustrating to trust someone else's worldview rather than my own. It's still good when you can find value in them, though

My favorite by Goldfrapp (If you can imagine pure, non-stop , this is probably it): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8Qw8gN4uag
And a good one by Enigma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFLRHPUWBI8
  6. Thank you, take your time and good luck with the business matters.
  7. It's your birthday?? Happy birthday

I'll get back to the rest of your messages in a few days. I just wanted to share this Massive Attack song, since you said you like them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3-PvKIc3e4
  8. My favorite destination to visit... Las Vegas and New York. I enjoy big cities and being surrounded by interesting opportunities.

What kind of communication do I enjoy from Fe users? Expressions of emotion. Especially when the Fe user thinks something is cute or endearing. Like "d'awwwww." Lol. Really, anything, tho. Even the angry shit, or displays of emotion that don't entirely make sense... They are like puzzles. Encouragement, too. With no Te strings attached.

Hm, thank you for saying that you hope I get the job I want.

Awesome tarantulas. I have to give you props for doing your own exposure therapy there. Not everybody bothers to step outside their comfort zone like that.

I'm glad you enjoy talking about those things. What kinds of movies to you watch? Also, I hope it's not too bold of me to ask (you don't have to answer), but how old are you? You seem really young from your pictures, so it surprises me that you're working on business! It surprises me even further that you've had time to cultivate so many skills; you must be a natural artist. Also, have you been reading a lot of my posts?
  9. Yes, NIN is a favorite of mine. I'm glad you liked the Emancipator song.

I like most things, except country. Mostly rock, though. Progressive metal. Experimental music, like post-rock. One of my favorite bands ever is Tool.

You say that you enjoy things that don't have obvious purposes. This explains why so many Alpha SFs enjoy frilly pillows, frilly sleeves, frilly everything.

Those bracelets and that fixture look excellently crafted! Well done.

I agree that it's not great to spend much time on this site, lol. There can be deterrents, but thank you for getting back to me. Is your business related to the items you craft? I've taken a class in accounting and wouldn't mind brainstorming about business ideas.

I meditate routinely. It's cool that the body worker was able to help you. According to quantum field theory, we are made of energy, and everything else is made of energy as well, at the most fundamental level. A lot of iron oxide and quartz exists in Sedona, which play a role in unusual energy flows there. It makes sense that some changes in energy could have a positive influence on us, since we are made of it as well. Maybe I should give it a try, and stop being so skeptical, lol.

Yes, I meditate routinely and I've gotten pretty good at it. I understand Buddhism intuitively now.
