  1. It's a quote from Louis Ck. He went on stage for about a minute and half, told that bit and got off. I don't think he ever used it in a special. I really like the quote though. It's honest. And even if on the surface level it's bad, he's not repressing it, and it speaks to how everyone could really give up something little and do alot for someone else. But you know, there's no gold standard for living, and i dont believe someone should live off the bare essentials just to be righteous. If that person had a kid, it would be in the kid's interest to have some luxuries. And that kid should take precedence over strangers, even if the strangers have it worse. Life's full of tricky shit lol. And thats why i like this. It's honest and blunt.
  2. yep, that one. i remember in philosophy class learning about some guy who wrote books about that, about how the only moral way to live is with the barest necessities to survive. and being kind of tortured thinking about it and wondering how it really might not be justifiable. i still don't even know.
  3. The kids dying quote?
  4. where is the quote in your signature from?
