  1. Yes! I loved tiny house nation! The loft/back thing is one reason why we're considering going a 'small house' instead. But then we may want the transportability, in which case the loft might be used for storage.

Meanwhile he's fixing the house we are in now, and I'm trying to get my debts paid off and further reduce my stuff. Of course, while being sidetracked by new ideas, lol. Currently I'm raising some chicks to eventually be our egg suppliers. If I succeed and not overwhelmed, then more points to getting land with our eventual home. If I find it's too overwhelming for me, then we'll probably just stay here in this house, or find something in town.

    Hope you are doing well.
  2. I love watching "tiny house nation" I lived in a studio once that had 350square feet on one floor. I would suggest not having the sleeping area in a loft with your painful back it may not work out well to climb stairs every day.
  3. Yes, for many years. But earlier last year I switched Drs to one who would work with me to figure it out. She sent me to a massage therapist who works under a physical therapist. After a few months of intense painful, very deep, massages, I can finally sit upright and stand for a few hours, and move my arms and neck without pain. It loosened up stuck tissues that were pulling on parts of my spine into differing directions. After getting them loosened up and able to move more freely, my spine stopped pinching nerves and distorting the pads. Unfortunately I still have problems with my hip, but some of that may be due to a childhood hip problem. My world is different, now that I can move easier. Much more enjoyable.

I hope you are receiving good support for your depression, both medically as well as from friends and family.
  4. Thank you Ann. It has been very stressful and certainly contributed to my depression but it's better now and my family is learning to cope better too. How has your health been. From what I recall you were having back pain (?)
  5. I am doing well. Yourself? I haven't been keeping up on what's been happening with your father. I hope his health is improving. I can't imagine the amount of worry and fears you and your family have been going through.
  6. Hi Ann, how are you?
