  1. Interesting, good call on that one. My opinion though is Socionics recalcitrants here aren't going to listen to me regardless of what I say, so I might as well make authoritative statements. Still, that explains why some people can be so hostile
  2. I thought you behaving as something of a... pompous ass with your self-important statements like "I think intuition and sensation are reliable dichotomies". Now I do say "I think" a lot, but the calculus is different with me because people don't want to be told what reality is straight out. They want to be passed beliefs. "I think" reflects something of a capitulation people request of me, kind of like saying please when calling for collective action. I don't know why, I guess that's just the way people are with me.

When you say "I think", especially about a fundamental, you sound like you are asserting authority. Authority is not a good way to make people buy into ideas... rather you have to think them through very deeply, and offer them in an appealing manner. Ideas cannot be forced, only sold. Anyone can develop understanding given enough effort... the job of the theorist is to do others' thinking for them with regard to a topic of concern. Then people can draw on this architecture of logic as established knowledge.
  3. Sorry about your thread getting locked. FTR, I don't consider it slander or harassment.

I also self-type ESE. The ILE/LII typings in my signature are, as always, jokes.
