Leading - Introverted Ethics, Fi
EIIs are very attuned to the nuances of interpersonal interactions and strive to keep their relations with others friendly and benevolent. They easily come into contact with others and may be sympathetic and courteous towards people even at a distance, while not being acquainted with them.
EII readily lends a compassionate ear to others. She will listen even to people who not very close with her, and may sympathize with her enemies, because she sees the ever present potential for renewal and change. However, to protect herself, to shield herself from those who may take advantage of her inner kindness, EIIs also adopt a more austere, harsh and biting demeanor.
Being dominant in an introverted rational function, EIIs often have well-formed opinions that they have carefully constructed and analyzed. They often excel in written and verbal self-expression, eloquently explaining their personal point of view.
EIIs are very empathetic people and find it very easy to feel along with others. They are implicitly attuned to the inner harmony of others; due to this they are sensitive to offending someone as well as being offended themselves.
EIIs whose feeling function is too pronounced exhibit excessively narrow, stubborn, categorical views and attitudes, and an excessively subjective orientation in their decisions.

Creative - Extroverted Intuition, Ne
With her creative extraverted intuitive function, EII becomes aware of the multitude of possibilities that can mold the present state. This inspires her to forgive the transgressions of others for she often sees the potential for personal growth and change. Having a strong understanding of the inner workings of a personality and what constitutes harmonious emotional states, the EII can provide original advice concerning personal wellbeing and relations.
Due to her creative intuition, EII voices and discusses different options and possibilities. She operates creatively with hypothetical and broader themes, attempts to disambiguate and clarify what she has learned. She astutely draws connections and unearths associations between various themes and concepts across different topics. Thus she can become a good researcher. She has an inquisitive mind and seeks exposure to that which is clever, novel, and unusual.
In EIIs whose extraverted intuition is too well developed, such broad vision lends to indecision, uncertainty, and lack of focus when it comes to dealing with outside world. Due to this she comes to associate with those who can help them to narrow the options down to more pragmatic and concrete forms.

Mobilizing - Introverted Sensing, Si
EII will seek individuals who are able to concertize and disambiguate their hypothetical musings and tangents.
At work, EIIs prefer methodical, careful approach to haphazard trial-and-error operation. They don't easily see how to vary their methods and prefer to be instructed on how they should proceed. If possible EII seeks required accreditation and instruction rather than experimenting hands-on on the job.
EIIs tend to build up stress if they have to regularly attend to everyday chores and maintenance activities or engage in any heavy work (e.g. home remodeling). When they cannot cope with stress, they may be given to procrastination and escapism in forms of indulging in literary or artistic pursuits, and developing their virtual life in place of keeping up with chores and responsibilities. They appreciate direct help from others who can lighten such burdens and provide them with advice in practical areas of life.
While EIIs may have many ideas on how to entertain themselves, they may need impetus from other people to get out of their dwelling and embody those ideas.

Suggestive - Extroverted Logic, Te
EIIs often seek external logical verification and evaluation of their progress and when they find it, they stick to the people who were able to provide it to them.
EIIs have a great admiration for people who know how to get things done efficiently and purposefully in the outside world and who make an impression of being knowlegeable on a particular subject. They themselves consistently forget to consider whether their activities are actually achieving their intended goal, whether their time spent is bringing worthy proceeds, and whether their activities are organized in the most rational way. They subconsciously expect and appreciate it when others take interest in the effectiveness of their activities and helps to take an objective look at what they are doing.
EIIs are usually very curious and thirsty for information. When they have an interest in a particular topic or subject, they will try their best to read anything and everything about it in order to gain a clear and thorough understanding of all of its constituents. They are willing to listen to anyone who is knowledgeable or has interesting and well-argued ideas to share.
One of the largest complaints of EIIs revolve around the idea of "wasted potential." A lot of their neuroses, and "drive," come from fears that they are not achieving the maximum possible ideal in a certain field or area of life. Unlike IEEs, though, EIIs consider "leveraging potential" more in terms of depth, mastery of one or several specific areas, rather than breadth.

Id Block

Ignoring - Extroverted Ethics, Fe
EIIs can become expressive and very lively in groups for brief periods of time, but they always gravitate to deep, focused communication between two people or a small, close-knit group. They tend to shun wildness and prefer serious, more sensitive communication.
EIIs are usually very straightforward about their feelings in front of others; what you see from them is what you get. Even at a party where everyone is supposed to be happy, they still find it hard to conceal their true feelings when they are in a bad mood. This can create distaste among the rest who feel that the EII is not cooperating by contributing to the positive and boisterous mood. This tends to lead others who don't know the EII well to have a misconception that he/she is a grouchy person by nature.

Demonstrative - Introverted Intuition, Ni
The individual is quite adept at following discussions on the developments of present trends into the future and at contributing to them on occasion if he feels so inclined, but he does not take that as seriously compared to investigating possibilities in the areas he is interested in at present. He usually dismisses supernatural claims as being silly, wishful thinking, unless they happen to be related to the very specific religion he feels inclined to believe in and which he may be inclined to make part of his leisure activities.
The individual is also not naive to future happenings. He will often warn others of negative consequences. In this way, he uses his Ni to help the PoLR of his dual. However, unlike an EIE, he will not often take his own advice nor expect others to. His Se PoLR makes it impossible for him to demand that others heed his advice, and his Ne-ego makes him place more value in the possibility that he is wrong - and that things will play out differently - than in avoiding foreseeable disasters.

Super-Ego Block

PoLR - Extroverted Sensing, Se
EIIs have a general rejection or aversion to application of physical force as a method or a way of life. They don't take well to individuals who are physically forceful and forward and to sudden applications of force as means of getting one's way: speaking in raised tones, sudden yells and screams, forcefully moving someone aside, elbowing them out, impromptu pats on the shoulder, pulling pranks. They rarely employ such methods to draw attention to themselves or provide diversion or directive. As such, EIIs may appear meek and timid in situations that require such methods.
EIIs can feel exhausted after spending a lot of time manipulating physical objects (for example, working as a cashier in store and packing bags) and need time to recharge in discussion or reading. They don't pay careful attention to physical traits of surrounding objects and may make an impression of being negligent of their surroundings. They dislike being evaluated and judged based of their appearance.

Role - Introverted Logic, Ti
EIIs are not easily able to abstract themselves from the human dimension and apply "cold" logic in analyzing themselves or others. In addition, they become frustrated when they see others attempting to apply this kind of logic and may criticize theories, ideas, projects that they see as too dismissive of human condition. EIIs feel that not everything can be classified under one system since all individuals have their unique individual attributes.



Leading - Extroverted Intuition, Ne
IEEs are predominantly motivated by their feelings of interest and boredom. They are attracted to novel ideas, unusual or peculiar goings-on in day-to day life, and new experiences. They may have a tendency to frequently engage themselves in novel life "projects," which can and often consist of novel concepts or fields of thought, new activities, and new lifestyles (this list is not all-inclusive). These types of projects often take the form of activities that are uncommon, concepts that are unknown or avocations that have not been done or tried before. Regardless of the nature of their interests, they often have a tendency to try to accumulate as much knowledge about the field as they can, and sometimes to improve the field by finding new ways of conceptually framing its basic principles (needs an example). Eventually, once there is nothing left to discover, or when they simply become bored, they will follow their curiosity and find a new topic of interest.
Many IEEs require a certain degree of freedom from obligation in order to do their work and pursue their sometimes idiosyncratic interests, to the point where they may dramatically eschew conventional lifestyles. Some IEEs may have an irrational dread of working at a desk job or an office where they do not have the opportunity to pursue their whimsical hobbies. However, they often overestimate the torturous ordeal of having to perform specific chores that are not in line with their interests, and many IEEs that are acclimated to the reality of their obligations may not share this trepidation at having to fulfill them.
IEEs are often spontaneous and sometimes quite distractible individuals whose natural energy level leads them to be working on something or doing something most of the time (in contrast to dominant types whose natural state is one of inertia and contemplation). However their work is often periodic in nature rather and tends to be on whatever projects they have involved themselves in at the moment, or whatever they are interested in doing at the moment, rather than a consistent schedule or routine. Many IEEs routinely have spur-of-the-moment ideas or curiosities, and may be inclined to look up random information or do arbitrary things that have occurred to them in lieu of whatever they might have been working on previously.
IEEs, perhaps more than any other type, often have a tendency to seek out multiple perspectives and viewpoints on controversial matters. They are rarely tied down to any particular ideology and often have an implicit sense of faith that others are as intellectually open as they are. IEEs frequently have a innately optimistic disposition (despite how bleak they perceive the facts of any situation to be), and often earnestly believe in the value of a process of thorough, respectful, and politically correct discussion of controversial matters, and often that through a such due process of formal exposition of viewpoints, most reasonable people will come to a consensus as to the essential facts and truth of the debate.
IEEs often tend to mentalize and verbalize matters of personal development, individual qualities, and significant personal experiences, and often develop connections best with others through disucssing matters of personal development that are close at heart to them. They may have a sort of innate tendency to spontaneously try to help others find an appropriate outlet for their particular talents, focusing on the potential positive aspects of their character; they may become engrossed over what people might become rather than what they are currently, and thus have a tendency to be able to see the positive side of everyone.

Creative - Introverted Ethics, Fi
At first glance, IEEs are usually friendly, propitious and accepting people. They often enjoy interacting and learning from all types of people and tend to enjoy cultivating a sincere atmosphere of passive good will, where others can feel comfortable and accepted for who they are.
Like SEEs, IEEs are usually aware of and highly influenced by their emotional responses towards other people, things, or situations, but unlike SEEs they are less likely to be driven by their emotional reactions quite as viscerally; instead, their emotions are more likely to drive them to be a bit avoidant. They are often disturbed by conflict or aggression, and rather than espousing a confrontational or accusatory attitude, when possible they often prefer to politely smile and avoid being drawn into contentious arguments. They may be also somewhat fettered by and avoidant of situations replete with feelings of social awkwardness or situations in which their autonomy over their activities or choices is threatened.
They may be inclined to keep track of a large network of social acquaintances with whom they feel a significant connection. Many IEEs share a common pattern in that for them mental stimulation is often interpersonal; they may extensively enjoy interacting with many different people and find a situation boring if there are no interesting people with whom to engage in conversation.


Mobilizing - Extroverted Logic, Te
The IEE is keen on accumulating factual knowledge on subjects of personal interest and those that help him be more efficient and productive, but he's often unsure of his ability to find and select the correct information and is therefore attracted to people whom he sees as competent in that area and reassure him. He prizes efficiency, and berates himself secretly for his own inefficiency. He takes care to explain the justifications behind his actions. He loves accumulating and sharing trivia to make himself seem educated. IEEs believe firmly that knowledge should be shared freely. Asking an IEE to keep a secret is a burden on him. He can also be a little too trusting of information sources, because spreading falsehood is seen as a foreign and repulsive idea. IEEs love scientific and mathematic concepts, but practical application will soon bore them.

Suggestive - Introverted Sensing, Si
The IEE tends to be chronically unaware of his own bodily processes, including physiological sensations and a sense of balance and alignment with one's true desires. He sometimes has peculiar preferences or tastes, which he himself is unable to understand or fulfill. In terms of physical sensations, an IEE will almost always choose the familiar over the novel, because they know that the familiar is reliable in the positive sensation it delivers. An IEE will typically have a single item he orders at certain restaurants without fail; if he isn't in the mood for that item he doesn't eat there. He will stubbornly refuse to eat anything that he knows he does not like, refusing to try a "new recipe" of anything that he did not like before. The IEE would much rather sleep in his own bed than anywhere else as a matter of familiarity, but this preference never enters his mind when a friend invites him to stay the night, sometimes resulting in a lack of quality sleep that the IEE will forget about the next time around. IEEs almost never emphasizes his attractiveness or sexuality overtly and publicly, but dreams of being pleasing to the senses to at least a small circle of trusted friends and partners who are able to develop and enhance his sexuality and attractiveness in a trusting atmosphere. He often will obsess about his looks in front of the mirror, trying to get the right combination of preparedness and liberated comfort. It is embarrassing to come to an event overdressed, as the IEE would rather look like they simply came on a whim rather than over-prepared. They will usually undermine the time spent in preparation and will avoid speaking on the topic altogether. When getting sick, the IEE may stubbornly refuse or "conveniently forget" to take any sort of medicine. Their chosen method of dealing with sickness and physical discomfort is ignoring it until it can no longer be ignored. An IEE will frequently forget meals and sleep when excitedly working on a new project or in some sort of social gathering. Exhaustion, hunger, thirst, and full bladders will be ignored until the need is overwhelming and affects the IEE's concentration.

Id Block

Ignoring - Introverted Intuition, Ni
The IEE thoroughly understands discussions and arguments focused on following present trends into the future and their possible implications, as well as on exploring one specific imaginative vision of personal meaning, but he much prefers to explore many possibilities, starting from a present point in time and reality, rather than to concentrate on just a few specific visions or trends. He understands that the present moment may be changeable or not be as it seems, but refuses to think too much on the matter, choosing instead to keep a more practical view. To an IEE, the question "What if?" usually applies to something that the IEE can do to change his future, not some sort of alternate reality, such as "What if I bike instead of drive to work?" as opposed to "What if gravity didn't exist?"

Demonstrative - Extroverted Ethics, Fe
The IEE appreciates situations where people are enjoying a positive emotional atmosphere as in having fun and joking together, and is quite adept at creating them himself, but does not see creating or promoting them a top priority, nor does he actively look for people who maintain or need such an atmosphere; too high a focus on that is seen by an IEE as overdone. He can be very empathetic and will frequently comfort his friends and acquaintances, mostly letting them vent to him, offering suggestions as to what to do about it. These are usually practical. The IEE may offer a more optimistic viewpoint, but will not press the matter if the optimism is not received well. He is usually genuinely concerned, but refuses to let the negative energy affect him. This may eventually become tiring if it persists as he will feel guilty for being happy in the face of those close to him being miserable. The IEE does not like conflict between people one bit; he would rather stay on everyone's good side and keep in good terms with both sides of a conflict, preferring not to be judged by his affiliation with one side or another. In such situations he says very little that would give away where he truly sides on an issue.

Super-Ego Block

PoLR - Introverted Logic, Ti
IEEs tend to have a difficult time describing a concept or system in a manner in which the essential facts are all that is needed to understand or describe it. The IEE's focus in describing a concept or system is in how they themselves came to understand and see what they are describing. If an IEE is asked to describe or explain something, their natural tendency is to describe the pieces of the concept, system or idea that are related to the subject as a foundation before explaining the actual concept itself. The IEE will often describe details or aspects of a system that are unnecessary to the understanding of the system's properties, but the IEE views these details as essential functions of a sequential system (as opposed to describing the concept or system and only the concept or system as an independent entity). In other words, even if a detail is deemed outside of the IEE as extraneous, the IEE that is describing it will see it as a vital and significant part of a chain in order to paint the full, "proper" picture of the system the IEE wants to describe. An IEE will tend to start off explanations with a tremendous amount of detail, energy and patience and will move towards a more general explanation as they tire out (if they tire out). If something in the IEE's chain is broken or questioned, the description (in the IEE's mind) halts or falls apart.
When an IEE understands a logical concept or system, they are much better at describing anecdotal experiences with the concept or system that help to illustrate the concept or system. They would prefer to do this rather than describing the concept or system as described in the previous paragraph -- describe the essential facts of a concept or system.
IEEs will demonstrate inconsistent behavioral patterns to the objective, outside world. But to the IEE, these behavioral patterns are as a result of a relativist view of how they make their decisions. For example, an IEE might be steadfastly against going to a particular branch of a bank to deposit a check that is easily accessible and only 2 miles away, but is perfectly content going to a different branch of the same bank that is 25 miles away and requires a roundabout route to get there. To the outside world this would not make sense; why not just go to the branch that is easier to access that can handle the same function? But to the IEE, this does not matter. Something at the closer branch bothers the IEE enough to justify going to the further one. Maybe a particular person works there that the IEE wants to avoid, maybe one time the IEE did something embarrassing while at the closer branch and they are embarrassed to show their face again. Regardless of the reason, the IEE will justify circumstances to dictate the decisions they make in their behavioral patterns.
The IEE is keenly aware of societal structures and affiliations that they belong to. These structures can be small entities such as "family" and large entities such as "political affiliation". As such, an IEE will naturally speculate about how these societal structures they belong to would interact if they mingled (Ne+Fi). With a propensity to be involved in a diverse number of interests, IEEs find themselves in a position where they would deem that members of certain societal structures would clash if they met. This will, at times, cause IEEs to hide their affiliations to parties that they feel might cause scrutiny or criticism of their affiliations. They would rather not be judged by others based on their affiliations. Also, if an IEE is cast into an "incorrect" category, this can cause deep wounds in the IEE especially if the IEE believes that the person doing the casting will not change their position about the IEE's affiliation, and as a result of that, believes it to be a negatively connoted statement of their own character.

Role - Extroverted Sensing, Se
IEEs have the capability and ability to be direct and firm with others in such activities as giving direct commands or making categorical statements about things perceived. However, the period of time when this occurs in an IEE is generally short-lived. As soon as the IEE starts to think about and starts to seriously consider the negative connotations of their directness or firmness (Se), for example, fear of instilling fear in another person in such a way that it would cause the person to be timid to or even scared to approach the IEE thereby distorting the personal bonds the IEE has with the person (Fi), the IEE will back away from making such statements. Therefore these direct and categorical statements are quite difficult for an IEE to make, even if the IEE understands the benefits of being direct or firm with others, such as the benefits of being firm or direct with children in parenthood.
If an IEE is directly challenged or if an IEE observes a task a person demonstrates that is subsequently performed by the IEE or a group that the IEE is in (such as a teacher showing a classroom how to put together a widget, and the classroom then is instructed to put together their own widget), the IEE will consciously want to show their propensity and ability in performing the task as good as, if not better or faster than the original person or at least better than the group that the IEE is in. Anything less is considered a failure. IEEs will want to show proficiency in any task that is given to them, even if novice failure is understood. This, again is to demonstrate visibly to others that "I can do it" or "I can do this satisfactorily". Failing at accomplishing this and then subsequently being shown how to do the task is embarrassing for the IEE since they feel like they "should" have been able to accomplish the task if they were shown how to do the task at least once.
IEEs will struggle with things that require sustained willpower and self-motivation. Because of fluctuating interest levels in self-pursuits, these tasks are difficult to sustain. These tasks include (but are not limited to) staying motivated to keep a workout regimen, sticking with a diet, sticking to a routine of doing a particular errand at the same time periodically, and other similar tasks. If the willpower is not there, it cannot be artificially manufactured to get the IEE to "push through". Thus, attempts by other people to get the IEE to "push through" is met with resistance. Though, it may be that the IEE will heed the call begrudgingly, this is not sustainable; the IEE will find a way out if this external push persists.

Ego Block

Leading - Introverted Sensing, Si
SLIs are typically deeply in tune with the physical experience of their environment. They are very aware of physical sensations that surround them and how they affect them and often seek to surround themselves with pleasant stimuli. Often they gravitate towards nature, eschewing the unsightly morass of industrial society.
SLIs are deeply focused on their personal experiences in the world and are rarely perturbed by insignificant or trivial details that are external to their influence. They often exhibit a sense of outward calmness and do not allow superfluous external demands to interfere with their experience or affect them negatively. They are usually relaxed and sensibly avoid excess speculation, but at times can appear bland, overly narrowly minded, or inaccessible.
The aesthetic ideals of SLIs tend to be a bit eccentric and in some instances are outright bizarre. SLIs are often not concerned with maintaining appearances or upholding the aesthetics of others. They can be rather spartan in their living needs, requiring little luxury as opposed to functional items -- although if they decide an item is necessary, they often do not hesitate to buy the best product possible. They often have very moderate, comfortable dress. They are, however, often proactive in matters pertaining to the functionality of their living conditions. SLIs are stereotypically apt at do-it-yourself mechanical matters. SLIs commonly engage in personal mechanical projects and do not shy away from the use of their own hands.
SLIs often have a very personal and quiet attentiveness to their own well-being and understand the signals that their bodies send them. This does not mean that SLIs are always well versed in medicine or medicinal remedies, but rather that they are attuned and responsive to the natural self-regulatory messages that their bodies send, such as stress, which SLIs do not often appear to suffer from. Nor does this mean that SLIs always make entirely healthy decisions; sometimes the demands of their internal state can outweigh health concerns, such as in the case of a craving for potato chips. It is, however, not uncharacteristic for an SLI to self-correct aspects of their lifestyle in order to improve their physical state. In contrast to types, this is rarely motivated by a forcible desire to improve one's health, but is instead a natural response to an innate understanding of the changes in the SLI's internal physical state. SLIs can communicate their physical experiences and take concern in the health of others, but often tend to be somewhat reclusive in their interests and do not usually spontaneously do so unless requested.
SLIs can be good at mapping out their environment. They have a tendency to explore and pay attention to their surroundings and sometimes naturally know what is located where. Once they've developed a functional lifestyle, they can be hesitant to change it, but they have the ability to exhibit a detailed awareness of where different goods and services can be procured in the surrounding vicinity.

Creative - Extroverted Logic, Te
SLIs are often practical, direct, and formal in their demeanor. Typically SLIs possess a dry, matter-of-fact method of discourse, and value clarity and directness of communication. SLIs generally focus on communicating accurate information and neglect dealing with emotional aspects or motives in conversation.
SLIs are often very pragmatic. They often possess a great deal of practical knowledge, potentially including mechanical knowledge, skill with tools, managing one's finances, technical abilities, historical knowledge, medical/scientific knowledge, or a myriad of other topics. Often SLIs focus extensively on developing practical knowledge that facilitates functional, efficient lifestyles and often take an active role in crafting their own living environments. They enjoy such processes as analyzing and comparing of different goods and services and generally do not delegate such tasks to others, instead preferring to take an active, personal role in their decisions.
SLIs are generally uncomfortable taking no action if their living environment or their immediate surroundings are not operating with a sense of efficiency. An SLI might be inclined to see unnecessary waste of resources (such as energy, water, money, or living space) as an unacceptable circumstance. Some SLIs strive towards a lifestyle in which everything operates smoothly and waste is eliminated. Even SLIs that are not so extreme usually are disposed to acting on their internal concerns, and have a deeply subject-oriented relationship towards effecting tangible and effectual changes to improve or make satisfactory their surrounding environment.

Mobilizing - Introverted Ethics, Fi
SLIs are usually not focused on and are often unaware of emotional considerations in conversation. They are generally not good at reading people's emotional states and are often not inclined to perceive or speculate about others' underlying emotional states or motivations that are not obvious from their behavior. This can sometimes make them appear uncaring and insensitive.
Some SLIs do not consciously acknowledge the importance of their own emotions, and many try not to allow their emotional states to influence their decisions or pragmatic focuses. Nonetheless, SLIs are not immune to emotional influence, but they often do not realize how strong their emotions can be until they experience them.
SLIs are usually not very gregarious and have difficulty establishing new interpersonal connections. They tend to value established attachments very deeply, but often they are not focused on emotional bonds; instead, their lifestyle leads them towards a path of relatively peaceful seclusion, and they may understate the importance of people in their lives or be disinterested in trying to pursue connections with others.
Though SLIs are usually respectful and good-natured people, they do not always show this side of themselves. Depending on circumstances they can appear self-righteous and stubborn. This most commonly happens when they perceive that someone is behaving in an obviously insincere manner or hindering their goals or their lifestyle.

Suggestive - Extroverted Intuition, Ne
SLIs typically depend most extensively on firsthand experience to learn about things around them. They often seek to be pragmatic individuals who are generally down-to-earth and unaware of hidden meanings. They often do not emphasize unique aspects of their character, instead preferring the background and directing their attention towards the goings-on of their immediate environment.
SLIs can tend towards an overly bland and conservative lifestyle. They often lack spontaneity and may exhibit the sentiment that something is missing and that little in their lives is novel and interesting. They appreciate people who exhibit a well-developed imagination, spontaneity, and new ideas. Such people often broaden the SLI's perspectives and give them a myriad of new experiences to draw upon. They are often recruited as willing collaborators into the constant unusual pursuits of IEEs.

Ego Block

Leading - Extroverted Logic, Te
LSEs are essentially pragmatic and hands-on individuals. They often focus directly on the task in front of them and can perform detailed and tireless work. They are usually solution-oriented and have a natural propensity to proactively engage others on a common project. They are naturally proactive and can without difficulty take charge of a project to ensure that their brand of detailed and high-quality work is implemented. They may become restless when they have no work to focus themselves on.
LSEs typically have a formal, straightforward, and businesslike communication style. They can expend a great deal of effort speaking of work-related or practically-minded topics. LSEs may seek to disseminate comprehensive and accurate factual information to others and value the information they garner from others as well. They may see themselves as teachers or guides to a world of facts and practical methods, and can provide a thorough, comprehensive, and interactively didactic treatment of their topics of expertise or interest. Their factual and eminently realistic mode of conversation can come across as overly dry, dull, and mundane to less pragmatic and grounded individuals.
LSEs often develop a host of practical knowledge. It is not uncommon to see LSEs who are adept craftsmen and enjoy working with their hands, and they may as a matter of course accumulate information about practical tasks. LSEs may know about home or automobile maintenance, finance management, shop skills, or a wide variety of other topics.
Like LIEs, LSEs often have a desire to apply their work to some social cause, and commonly have a great deal of respect for and place great importance in the formal institutions of the society around them. They may believe that a society (whether large or small) should play an active role in taking care of its members. If SLIs in spirit would not mind dispensing with modern society and going to live in the woods, LSEs are more likely to work with others through public channels, to rely on public institutions, and to feel the need for social stability in their lives.

LSEs value safety, comfort, leisure, aesthetics, and a peaceable environment. They often place a great deal of importance on free time, commodious surroundings, and familial well-being. They often enjoy recreation with a physical element, including hiking, sports, etc. They often dress comfortably and inextravagantly, maintain a moderate focus on cleanliness, and seek to create a pleasant and functional environment. They may expend a large amount of their energy and focus to this end; their productive goals differ somewhat in this respect from those of LIEs, who often consider attention devoted to their surrounding environment somewhat wasteful.
LSEs usually exhibit a tendency to adhere to their own internal demands. Many LSEs recognize their leisure time as essential to their overall well-being, and may exhibit a need to fulfill certain internal obligations before other tasks are undertaken. They may eschew the methodology of others and rely on their own experience and knowledge to guide them. They may avoid implementing the work of others if it conflicts with their own needs for leisure and comfort. They may fall into routines to around which organize their work and lifestyle, and can resist deviation from these routines even when they are ineffectual.
Additionally, LSEs may seek to ensure the physical and overall well-being of their family members and loved ones, and naturally fit in to a "caregiver" role where their initiative and attentiveness to the needs of others are welcomed.

LSEs are often not highly imaginative. They may have difficulty determining the personal qualities or potential abilities of others around them, and may be sometimes inclined to exhibit a rather naive trust of others whom they come across. They may also have difficulty generating novel or innovative concepts, though in the realm of productive work, they may make up for their lack of imaginative or conceptual innovation by hands-on labor and sheer tirelessness.
LSEs often try to concentrate on the possible outcomes of a situation, but they tend to have difficulty generating cause-and-effect explanations for events that transpire around them, especially in the sphere of personal relations. LSEs are usually concerned with the situation immediately in front of them, and with their personal experiences. They usually focus their productive efforts towards matters that they can personally see, hear, feel, or experience, rather than on pursuing speculative or theoretical ideas. Many LSEs concern themselves only with what they can experience or control, and do not always attempt to expend undue energy to understand what is extraneous to their experience. Being grounded in the concreteness of reality, most LSEs are not deeply aware of fantasy, mysticism, symbolism, or any otherworldly esoterics. For this reason, they may be perceived as dry and unimaginative.
LSEs may be minimally adaptive to previously unforeseen consequences. LSEs can be somewhat apt at noticing and contributing to the emotional atmosphere of a situation. They can be cordial and welcoming, especially in familiar environments. Many LSEs also have a jovial sense of humor.
However, attention to emotional surroundings often does not come instinctively to LSEs, who usually hold a naturally composed and orderly demeanor and do not tend to become highly animated. Their more businesslike attitude tends to predominate in many situations, and their formal style may appear somewhat naive and out of place in contexts where free emotional expression is encouraged, such as raucous parties or conversations involving gossip; LSEs may feel uneasy and uncertain interacting in these situations as well.
