No way is she an intuitive. Have you read the book?

02-23-2006, 09:27 AM
From my point of view, ESTp

02-23-2006, 12:42 PM
sooo... why does everyone think she's a thinker? just out of curiousity...

02-23-2006, 12:43 PM

02-25-2006, 02:52 PM
Yeah, I'd say ESTp too.

because thinker females are batshit crazy. (;

Neener neener neener!!!

Because Scarlet wasn't the most emphathetic person. I wouldn't think her a sensing feeler for sure. ESTps are logical...its just used to get what they want.

She has that "oh woe is me" thing going for her even at times when things are relatively good in her life. She believes others shoud cater to her. That alone rules out a lot of types. But she is easily pleased by material sensations. She is scanning for opportunities to manipulate to feed her needs.

So then what's Rhett Butler? INFP?

03-14-2006, 12:01 PM
Ahh hellz nah! Rhett is also an ESTp
Ashley is an INFp and Melanie an INFj or ISFj

03-14-2006, 08:11 PM
The whole, Frankly Scarlet, I don't give a damn sounds kind of ENTpish almost.

because thinker females are batshit crazy. (;

i'd say at least 70%, ST women are definitely the most attractive women, but absolutely nuts

03-14-2006, 08:32 PM
Even the ST women I know who aren't really physically attractive come off as they though they are. They seem very good at the whole girly thing.

03-15-2006, 12:19 PM
Never really met a confirmed ST female.. of course I have encountered ones unknowingly, but I would like to see what they are like...
No wait, I know an ISTp and an ISTj.

Both are not uh, considered extremely attractive, lets say.

03-15-2006, 01:12 PM
Of the 3 (in my opinion) confirmed ESTp women I've met, two were quite attractive, the third one was average-looking (all in my opinion).

Personally I don't think you can relate this sort of thing to type.

Based only on the movie (haven't read the book), I'd say that Scarlett is ESTp and Rhett ENTj. He showed strong :Te: , :Ni: and considerable :Fi: .

06-08-2006, 06:47 PM
I think, Scarlett is :Se: :Fi: cause she always was very manipulative and :Se: :Ti: are very straightforward, but she wasn't.

My guesses are:
Scarlett O'Hara EIE sp first or with strong HA (some kind of mix with SLE, happens with fictional characters)
Rhett Butler ENTp (his last line could be ntr, but... well. I think the poster Polly was onto sth. There's only so much drama he could take.)
Ashley Wilkes IEI (and a very indecisive wimpy one at that)
Melanie Wilkes either EII or SEI (and almost angelic in naivety)

I've only watched the movie -a lot-, but haven't watched in a while. Haven't read the book, but I've heard the characters are a little bit different in the book.
Yeah I have a mix of the book and movie in my mind, kind of hard to separate at this point...

I love your typing of India. That should be the 17th type. :D
