The bone-breaking type.

My second guess would be LSI.
@hkkmr: You could very well be right. I do agree that using shame to promote change probably isn't a Beta thing and seems Fi-related. I also don't know much about him.
However, I don't think following Buddhism is type related. I don't think having a lot of pets in place of human relationships means Fe PoLR, nor do I think that having a messed up personal life is really indicative of Fe PoLR. Both of those things could just mean he has some psychological problems.

Understandable, based on hhkmr's comment about Fi. Se could be leading, but I dunno.
Yeah it's funny isn't it.
Takes me back.
Maybe I found an example for --+ ESI...
The thing about ISTjs is that they're not particularly autonomous people. They're good at applying directives and following orders, but they don't do too well when they need to find their own way around. I don't see this kind of awkwardness in Seagal, so I'd pick ESTp over ISTj. (this difference is detailed in Gulenko's Thought Styles thread; ISTjs are "programmed", ESTps are autonomous)
His mental stability and extreme collectedness is, as far as I'm concerned, a conclusive argument for a Static (Se) type. Mental stability itself is a characteristic of the Negative/Result/Static group that the ESTp is a member of, according to Gulenko.
I don't personally see Fi anywhere in his behavior.
ESI
Also, don't mess with his Fi

Steven Seagal has received the Dr. Todd grande Treatment !
Here is a very interesting interview. In fact the nitty-gritty here is the talking which was supposed to be "off record" i.e. the very beginning and from 18:25 to 19:55. Video Interviews which include the "off record" are the best you can analyse for typing purposes.
He seems SEE to me.
