Default help to type my ex

I need help to type an ex of mine. I waver between SLI and SEI with occasional ESE thoughts. I was 18 he double my age, he more into me than me. We still keep in touch but work better at a distance. he likes my Ne, he reads my writing, he loves all artists.

Him: Construction kind of odd jobs work, can fix anything, brilliant spatial intelligence, can see a room, see how to rearrange for maximum comfort and efficiency, people just ask him to do a kitchen/bathroom for the and he does, likes the design aspect, texture, colour etc.

He is italo-american and so/sx 6w5. He can talk non stop when nervous, that might be the 6w5. His past girlfriends seem fairly delta nf. He used to write me long letters and send me boxes of trinkets. He is the kind of person everyone want to be around, laid back, a lot is hidden actually, brilliant with attracting women. He once told me a story where he had dinner with three women, plaed footsies with two through dinner and ended up sleeping with the third. My brother once said sitting next to him you feel good, it was true. Can feel some Fe and see it when he laughs, he laughs a lot.

I sometimes felt smothered and pushed by him (but I was very sensitive to that) which makes me lean towards SEI -Si. He drank, smoked and was an ex heroin user. Also he seemed a bit merry rather than serious to me. Very kind and caring, will do anything for a friend. Always seems to get into situations where is is not looking after his own interests, raked into other people's schemes, like working for bosses whose business are shams and collapse, but he seems never to mind it. Complains about work in general.

    Not tall, but strong build.

    Ask me anything else

Got a picture or two or three? I'm bad with VI'ing male SEI's but pretty good with SLI's.

He sounds like a wild ST (unlikely SLI though, but LSE is a possibility), or an SEE who's somehow more in touch with his Te and Si side.

Have you ever considered Beta ST for him?

also Gulenko's dichotomy test was not bad. If it was translated somewhere not by google
dichotomy tests used by MBT also can be used. there should be some online. MBTI itself can be used too

to me, your pro-sli points could very well be EII - RII has Mobilizing Si, often the Mobilizing can grow to monstrous proportions - this would mean hes very sad inside, and all his reckless behavior is an attempt trying to 'fill the hole'. i only imagine its not common for sli to give up on life' (last paragraph - self-destuctiveness), but maybe it is.

was he, overall: darty, unpredictable, hot/cold or up/down... or just forceful, always focused, determined?

Filatova-typed EII, ALL the 'square' faces (face shape is important - see the DCNH VI thread in the Other Viewpoints subforum):

    https://i.imgur.com/qxT4X0k.png
    https://i.imgur.com/ToKYtHi.png
there are 2 other square faces but theyre extremely angled and otherwise bad

he doesnt look anything like the sli, but there are so few pics maybe those lookalikes arent shown: http://wikisocion.net/en/index.php?t...a#SLI_.2F_ISTp

i think its also quite common for eii men to fantasize about iee. across all types extroverted counterpart is something we sorta aspire to be more like - theyre confident. eii male is the most unconfident type by far.
THankyou for this. He is so dear to me actually. An interesting one, his heart is huge, but I think he might be a 649 and all the 649 combinations I know are extremely surrendered in a way and humble and loyal.

I'm doubtful about EII, I have been close to lots and we always share this zainy ne humour, which I didn't with him, like you just have to lock eyes with them and you both know what the other is thinking and crack up. Also he is a care giver, very fatherly, and extremely practical. He basically looked after me like a parent, cooked washed my clothes everything, not a single complaint, and I never appreciated it at the time. He can fix/built anything. He even melted my LSI mum when he visited me, that's why I though maybe some more fe in him. But maybe it was just kindness.

Regarding the face, I was just thinking it's a bit Leonard Cohen-ish who is actually usually typed sli I believe.

I would say he comes across as the opposite of flighty/darty. Comes across extremely cool, though isn't inside. Like he told me a story when he was on the subway one day and a man was sniffing something on a hanky to get high and everyone was wary of him and he just walked over to him and took it gently off him and let it fly out the window. It's like people surrender to him. But he does have a temper, for example he was banned from one of the banks in the city we lived because of his behaviour,, I can only imagine.

He sounds kinda like this guy my mom used to date, and my mom is alpha so it makes sense to me then he is some type of alpha. SEI makes a lot of sense, or even ESE. ESE males aren't all like richard simmons or something- like olimpia would think maybe, I think many of them are really manly and good at construction/spatial stuff like that.

he even sounds a bit ile-ish to me. I don't necessarily think intuitive types would be awful at construction type work, but it is a more sensor-ish thing stereotypically speaking.

I like @BandD ‘s guess for him. He reminds me a little of Jason Bateman (Arrested Development, Terrible Bosses) who MIGHT be ESE.

He has a similar look on his face to my SLI mum, I haven't read your descriptions of him, just basing this on VI, sorry (thought of this before of reading the suggested typings too)

He might be some Alpha type, since I see Fe. Alpha feelers are the type I have the least experience with and therefore have the hardest time recognizing.

Alternatively, he could be EII, too. I only know two male EII’s, so this is also a type where I have a hard time identifying males, but he could fall into that group.

All good, long-term relationships are even trades, where the sum of one person’s numbers is equal to the sum of the other person’s numbers.

My gimp leg for your crooked teeth.
    My beauty for your resources.
My social connections for your intelligence.

Hey, we look completely different, but our numbers are the same. Let’s form an Institute!

If you think age isn’t one of these numbers, then you haven’t thought very much about why people get along.

thanks, I believe he is ESE-Si H 6w5 (628) so/sx. It was always he was like a SEI but with better TE that pushed me to think Sli territory. I'm happy he is not my dual.

regarding the age gap- I was living in Italy in the countryside, travelling on my own, and all my friends happened to be in their thirties and forties at that time. I've found later talking to others it's quite common for people venturing into adulthood to socialise with older people.

    Older people:

    1. Know stuff.
    2. Can help you with things you didn't even know you needed help with, and
    3. Take better care of their stuff.

Totally and I think I was mature in ways he was not as well, even at that age. It was a very loving expat community of germans, americans, belgians, hippy italians, the odd australia, egyptian etc. I relished it and they adored me. I was very fortunate.
