duh, I was really doing my best finding the correct/normal version of Kanye's "Never let me down", but I failed.

well, it's so lyrical to me... and just, that part after J.Ivy, that comes... "take them to church" or sth... that just makes almost cry

it's not like lyrics, it's more the power behind them, and the emotion and shit, beats, and nice touch, the right amount of energy, and the drums the drums the drums... that's just so great.

oh, also Kanye "Heard em say" with John Legend is quite nice

Kanye is not INFp, and John Legend is most likely Si-ISFp. And yay for Christian Schad.

Kanye IEI?!? Well I think his best song is "Through the Wire"

John Legend kinda annoys me, but he is very talented

He's Fi-ESFp. And yeah, Through the Wire is an amazing song.

John Legend kinda annoys me, but he is very talented
He is. And I think Si-ISFp works, probably a 9 too. There's a smooth continuity in his behavior, demeanor and music. Very soothing at times. It's interesting to compare his style to other R&B artists who are INFp, like Ne-Yo and Jaheim, and see the subtle differences in their delivery.

    Anyway...

    Kanye seems EIE to me.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

I think Tupac might be Te/Fi and possibly a Gamma extrovert but I ain't sure.

Tonight, Tonight - one of my favourite music videos and songs. I think it's rather dramatic.

The 90's was when it was at its best, though. Now the culture is polluted with a bunch of soulja boy wanna-be ******s who would piss their pants if they ever experienced an inkling of the shit they rap about.

hah, i remember once when i was listening to bright eyes thinking it helped me see what Ni+Fe is like.

There is no beginning to the story
A bookshelf sinks into the sand
And a language learned and forgot, in turn, is studied once again
It's a shocking bit of footage viewed from a shitty TV screen
You can squint at it through snowy static to make out the meaning
And keep on stretching the antennae, hoping that it will come clear
We need some reception, a higher message, just tell us what to fear
Because I don't know what tomorrow brings
It is alive with such possibilities
All I know is I feel better when I sing
    Burdens are lifted from me
    That's my voice rising

So Michael, please keep the tape rolling
    Boys keep strumming those guitars
We need a record of our failures
As we must document our love
I've sat too long in my silence
I've grown too old in my pain
To shed this skin, be born again, it starts with an ending
So thank you friends for the time we shared
My love stays with you like sunlight and air
Oh I truly wish I could keep hanging around here
    My joy is covering me
    Soon, I will disappear

It's not a movie, no private screening
This method acting, well, I call that living
It's like a fountain, a door has opened
We have a problem with no solution but to love and to be loved
So, I've made peace with the falling leaves
I see their same fate in my own body
But I won't be frightened when I am awoken from this dream
And returned to that which gave birth to me
Gave birth to me, gave birth to me, gave birth to me
And the story goes, and the story goes, and it goes
On and on and on and on...

@BnD, that song is hella Se + INFp dual seeking. And the Jordin Sparks cover is a TRAGEDY!!

@Starfall, yeah, that song is totally whiny INFp central. Self-aware and all that. Yuck. SLEs are so much better than IEIs.

Although I have to confess I love the line, "I want a boy who's so drunk he cannot talk." That's pretty fantastic. These lyrics are better than the Fefe Dobson song.

Also, I love Creep and I don't care what type Thom Yorke is, Creep is sickeningly IEI. So there.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

I am grateful for the mystery of the soul, because without it, there could be no contemplation, except of the mysteries of divinity, which are far more dangerous to get wrong.

The same IEI I mentioned in the beta music thread loves to blast this one. I't's pretty funny to watch her eyes get all big as she starts grinning and clapping, fucking nutcase:

    I was so wasted
    I was a hippie
    I was a burnout
I was a dropout I was out of my head
    I was a surfer
    I had a skateboard
I was so heavy man, I lived on the strand
    I was so wasted
    I was so fucked up
    I was so messed up
I was so screwed up I was out of my head
    I was so jacked up
    I was so drunk up
I was so knocked out, I was out of my head
    I was so wasted
    I was wasted.

    Follow these instructions
    Do exactly as I do
    Lean your shoulders forward
Let your hands slide over to my side
    Move your body closer
    Let your heart meet mine
    Love is the harmony
    Desire is the key
    Love is the melody
    Now sing it with me
    Come a little closer
    Take a look at me
    This light is so obvious
    I want you to see
    Come a little closer
    Look me in the eye
Then repeat with me one more time
    Love is the harmony
    Desire is the key
    Love is a symphony
    Now play it with me
    x2

You'll be the rythm and I'll be the beat
You'll be the rythm and I'll be the beat
Then I'll be the rythm and you'll be the beat
And love, the shoreline, where you and I meet
    Love is the harmony
    Desire is the key
    Love is a symphony
    Come sing some with me

Ok, that was a bit general but it really appealed to me (and maybe with the whole Beta Quadra).

What a terrible song, regardless of whichever type wrote it.
