Hmm. I like him. He seems to have a natural aversion to human rudeness and disrespect, and I've always admired those that could protect people. Like a lot of macho guys (aka gay porn stars) he's just a big sissy underneath. Gotta admire those muscles coupled with the caring soul.

I told myself that I was going to try to go ONE WHOLE DAY without making a quip about orientation but I can't help myself. I need help. Freud, please save me!

It seems like maybe he was one of those stories you used to hear on Jenny Jones how he was like the nerd everybody picked on but was really a caring, compassionate person underneath. And decided to just go about it in this particular fashion. He was probably nothing like that, but it reminds me of those funny shows.

You know how they're like all 'You called me a geek but now I'm so sleek.' Heh that's cute. "You said I was fat now I'm all that!"

His characters are some kind of weird SEE/LSE hybrid, but as for the man himself, I'd say LSE is a safe bet.

I just think he's ESTp because he's tough, black, and enjoys protecting people. To me that's what an ESTp is.

Warriors are so awesome. You don't even need to be prot to tank all that well, like the hybrid classes. Plus you're such a good pvp class to boot.

I'm rolling a Draenei shaman though. I thought I'd hate hybrids but they're cool. The versatility is charming. Like Matt Cole vids mmmm.

Actually I would say Letterman seemed frustrated by Mr. T's behavior and for some reason decided to get an response from him, which he never got. I've seen him get highly frustrated by SLEs before (Madonna especially), who just don't follow any of his "rules" and are basically unmanageable. Madonna criticized him for "sucking up" to people or something like that, and he was unable to have any real conversation with her.

    Default Mr T

Rick typed him as ESTP, though in an other thread of a year ago, people typed him as ISFJ

    What type is he?

To me it seems that he's faking to be an ESTP... I have no clue about his real type.

    What are your ideas?

LSE. Physically strong presence that I would expect from an ES type, but with a clear morality slant, eg, Mr. T's Commandments (Mr. T's Commandments - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) and other such missiony messages I would associate with LSEs in particular.

This is a vague opinion though.

Not SLE. LSE seems believable, but after watching an interview with Conan O'Brien, I think he's an ethical type, possibly Fe-ego. I *really* don't think he's an Se-ego. He's just big.
Not a rule, just a trend.

IEI. Probably Fe subtype. Pretty sure I'm E4, sexual instinctual type, fairly confident that I'm a 3 wing now, so: IEI-Fe E4w3 sx/so. Considering 3w4 now, but pretty sure that 4 fits the best.

    Yes 'a ma'am that's pretty music...

SLE is actually a good and reasonable typing. I don't understand how you can say he's faking it, although from first impression it would seem that some of you have a limited perception of SLE (http://www.the16types.info/vbulletin...n-vs-isfj.html) but to be honest, Tom Green as a stereotype of ILE is sort of a ridiculous excuse for a verity that needs to be reassimilated. The basic limitation to typing Mr T. as LSE is that he doesn't come across as Te-EJ like how someone like Arnold Schwarzenegger does, especially in the sense that he qualifies as inherently Ti valuing. Even by investigation into the possibility of LSE does it seem unlikely; Te dominant is a longshot in estimation. A suggestion of LSI has come up, which is not a bad one.

I though it was evident that this guy is always playing a role, or better, wearing a mask.

It's even visibile in his clothing/haircut, he does immens trouble to look like a bad ass. And more important, he seems to really force himself when talking, it just doesn't look naturally.

Yeah, but I'm sure an SLE would have a much easier time acting like another SLE counterpart, than something incredibly ridiculous like a type change (like the other guy, ESI acting like an SLE, its a ridiculously flawed assumption). It seems like a large excuse for typing people differently is that they don't come across as "real" enough, but that has nothing to do with the fact that the assumptions are bad to begin with (ie. "this is not what SLEs do at all, he is way to much of a softy") How much have you really looked into Mr. Ts personality to have a viable stance? (not that having an ill-based opinion is a bad thing, we all have hunches). This generally seems to be a large theme, if Mr. T were to act very different than how he is, like an ILI, LII or something, it would be very easy to figure out that he is really still an SLE.

He seems to be vulnerable to Intuition PoLR hits and incurs a lot of these (convincingly acted to the point he seems to play his own type) from Murdock in the A-Team. A decent explanation is that Murdock is ENTp and BA is ISFj. They definitely "hated" eachother.

I find Mr. T hilarious to watch, but I wouldn't want to hang out with him. He exudes way too much Se for me. I agree, Gamma SF makes the most sense. I think he may be an ESI who has adopted a more extraverted persona (SEE?), which is why some people get the impression that he's "faking it".

    LSE to the max.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Looks rational, LSE doesn't seem to be out of the realm of possibility.

Bound upon me, rush upon me, I will overcome you by enduring your onset: whatever strikes against that which is firm and unconquerable merely injures itself by its own violence. Wherefore, seek some soft and yielding object to pierce with your darts.
