Thanks, I always hate the way I sound in recordings/videos so that's rather reassuring.

In person I'm either like that (smiling and laughing a lot) or in serious/management mode (not sure how to explain it, not even sure what it would look like without taking a video!). And yes I also noticed once the video was taken that I was holding the camera sideways like a retard through most of it, haha. I'm much more used to taking photos than videos!

Did anyone notice that I was thinking about walking up the retaining wall instead of the stairs and then decided I was carrying too much shit and climbed back down? lol (It looked like it would have been fun.)

And Kam, I think everyone who's not used to having a video taken of them gets either louder or quieter than usual in them... Anyways, thanks for a fun visit! ^_^

Yeah, that is not how I am always, as Joy could attest earlier on in the day. I think I will pull a Gul here(*hangs head in shame*) and say I was playing up my Fe enormously to be an actor.

I was nervous about being on video, aware that every second would be viewed by people I barely know/not know at all, and I kind of went crazy.

But um, yeah. I notice I look like a total tool on video. :| Not at all how I wanted to come off.

I thought Kam seemed perfectly SEI. I did feel that both u guys were COLDDDDD! You were talking like your faces were frozen! I started feeling cold just watching it.. Brrrr!

As for the Fe, I just thought it was from giddiness of meeting each other for the first time in person after talking forever online and wanting to make a good impression and wanting to make each other feel welcome. I didn't think u were acting infantile Kam. Infantile behavior would be hard to judge from this limited context, and SEIs can be plenty giddy and outgoing in the appropriate context.

I enjoyed seeing a video of the SLE demeanor in Joy though as i'm not totally clear on what it's like. Joy you strike me as similar in demeanor as a coworker of mine, whom I also typed Fi-POLR/Fe-HA but have been on the fence between ILE and SLE (I'd leaned ILE in the past but i guess for questionable reasons). My coworker and you have the exact same way of talking and joking and smiling and just the way you carry yourselves i guess.

I see what you are saying, but I feel camera presence is something largely independent of relational comfort. For example, the only time I'm really comfortable in front of a camera is when I'm say, high, and disassociated from my insecurity about how I look.

And some people simply try to bypass their awareness in a way where they drag it around full circle. Joy's "not being affected" felt really conscious to me. I felt like she cares so much she has to behave as if she doesn't.

Kam's presence seemed more straight forward to me. He was perhaps talking more than usual and being "awkward" as...politeness. A desire to engage. He didn't seem particularly "awkward" to me, actually. Just willing to be expansive and somewhat freely associative.

I was caught off guard so to speak. And I didn't want to make this video of Joy and I full of silence. So I started running my mouth as much as I could, so at least you guys would have something to watch, haha. I know I would never sit through a boring video.
