Not any more than the average person with a decent command of rhetoric.

Try to, you know, vote for the best answer. I think the last option could also mean, I've tried to understand you, but I haven't had success.

The other opinions are: I know you enough to make a hunch decision.
Option 2/3 could mean: I relate to understanding you, I know where you're coming from, but I don't think I'm similar to you.
Otherwise Option 1 could mean: I don't know if I'm really the same as you, but I think I understand you well enough to relate to you.

Although I think people can discuss, apply, and understand Socionics together, I don't assume to think I understand someone I have never had the opportunity to converse with vocally, meet in person, or engage in a personal activity together that is educational, recreational, or business related. This forum doesn't count to me because it's mostly impersonal.

So uh... do you mean relate or identify? Cause I think I can actually relate to most people. You just have to figure out what makes them tick (Socionics ftw!) and then it's all gravy from though. I have found that very few people can handle my intensity, though a few seem to thrive off of it.

As for identifying with people... to a large extent I mean... pretty much never.

Your reasoning, presumably reflecting way of thinking, often reminds me of myself, but your conclusions rarely do.

I would like an option "I relate to what you write". It's quite obvious I don't know you and never pretended otherwise, since all I can know is a forum persona you create here in the first place. But I sense something familiar in many of your posts, and that's a lot for me as far as relating to someone goes.

Somewhat. You are more mature than me in some ways. We're both introverted, and probably feel shared strife based on that- all introverts feel that way tho simply cause american society doesn't value it, if we lived in japan or somewhere it would probably be different. And I wouldn't feel like such a goddamn victim all the time. (lol I'm actually not that bad, I just like to feign emoness just cause I think it does make people more human or something.)

But I can barely make myself happy. How the hell am I gonna do it with somebody else? It makes me think sometimes the only reason people get in relationships is to look good for society. I'm really sensitive to that. "You don't really care about me you're just doing this because it makes you look good." I think all faggy introverts are like that though you know?

Anyways lol I somehow relate...except you seem more serious/mature than me.

I don't think you're that vulnerable. Somewhat yes, but that's just cause you're an introvert. And middle-class white boy? But other than that you're not really weak.

If you want people to really relate to you, you're just gonna have to risk being emotional and not intellectual. of course nobody will encourage you to do this. OMG WHAT A WEAK ****** WHY DID YOU TELL PEOPLE THAT? 'so I could actually connect with people?' lol.

I got bored and lonely, shoot me.

But nobody really relates to people who are all college professy narcissistic rant-ish. Because well for one, most people aren't that smart. If you wanna relate u gotta just dumb urself down to their level. You're smart. So socially that means you're gonna have problems. Comes with the territory. You just need....more social encouragement like all introverts. There there introverted ****** everything is gonna be okay. I'm mocking it but you need it. We all do. Nobody understands or relates with intelligence because its by its very nature, way too independent.

That's very ideal. You almost sound too perfect, like you know the right answer to everything - like I do, but reality doesn't really go that way for me like in my ideal stories. But yeah. Identify with yourself, but relate to other people. It seems so socially well-adjusted and healthy. I don't really believe in it. Nobody's that perfect. Your weak faggy insecure thoughts. I sees them!

Maybe that's why I need you Mother Joy-ous. You are my connection to normalcy and the external world. And I am your connection to the inner fag meaning you want your life to have. <3. Duality, yay! (J/k I don't think we're duals but I like to feed that childish fantasy)

You have a creepy avatar, and your views on socionics SEEM to change around a lot, so that I'm never sure where you're coming from, so not relatable in that way. You seem like a pretty nice guy though.

Cool. I'm sort of glad someone actually reads my posts, and I'm a bit surprised I would write posts; but I do.

    Ok.

You come across like one of those lone wolf types to me, Polikujum .. like Heath, like you can pretty much be unaffected by people and just go about being yourself, or trying out different um styles... noting people's reactions to you but not caring how they judge you. You seem a bit shy upon contact with people though, hard to pin down. :-p
