Survivor: The16Types Style

So I have invented a game. However it is not merely a game but also an experiment, a chance to discuss people's types and to share knowledge. Everyone who is interested should reply here.

The game will function thusly: anyone who replies to this thread will be entered into one or both of two pools. The first pool will be people who will participate in the game. These people will debate the types of the people in the second pool. Anyone can opt in to be in the second pool and have their type discussed; however anyone wishing to participate as a part of the first pool will be required to enter into the second pool and have their type discussed.

There are no teams in this game; at least, not by default. Every man is for himself.

Each round will consist of debates between pairs chosen at random from the first pool. Everyone from pool one debates every round. One person will be selected from the second pool at random whose type will be discussed by all first pool participants. One whole day will be allowed for open discussion in the thread and, if desired, any private interaction. Debates will be held the following day.

After the debates, the person whose type is being debated will choose the best and worst cases made for their type. The person chosen as the worst will be presented for a dismissal vote, which will be decided on the basis of a popular vote from first pool participants; the majority decides whether they deserve to stay or go.

If the chosen person is voted off, the round is over. If they are not voted off, the person who gave the best description will nominate someone to be voted off. This vote must pass by a 2/3 majority in order for the nominee to be voted off.

If the vote is again unsuccessful in removing someone, all remaining first pool participants will be given 5 points for each remaining member, and will distribute them all among their remaining opponents. The person with the least points is voted off.

When only two people remain, they will debate each others types once and for all. All original contestants from the first pool will then choose the winner by scoring each contestant twice, once for his own type explanation and once for his explanation of his opponents type. The contestant with the overall highest score wins!

Leave a post here stating whether you want to participate or have your type discussed. Rounds will begin when there are 20 first poolcontestants or on the 10th of January, whichever comes first.

Not sure I'd make a good debater, and I'm not sure I totally get all the rules, but if you absolutely need more pool one people I'll do it (seriously though, only if no one else volunteers cause I'll be bad at it). I am curious as to what dolphin asked (if the two combatants happen to think the same type).

lol i'm not worried about that really, it's more that if i joined the first pool, i don't necessarily feel that i could write out strong arguments for people's types. i don't even hold opinions on some people's types, so i'm not sure how i could write an argument out. also, i can see scenarios happening in which someone writes a good argument that doesn't agree with the person's self-typing and therefore won't win because the person in question may just go ahead and choose the weaker argument that agrees with their self-typing, etc.. i guess in that way there could be some strategy involved here, where a person may not even give their true opinions on people's types, instead opting to write whatever is necessary to sound good, and move on in the game/win.
