Default Typing spreadsheet old discussions (2011-14)

This is a typing spreadsheet for entering types of 16types forum members.

    Spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...SenhseXc#gid=0

    This spreadsheet has four pages:
    - first page for entering Socionics types
    - second page for entering Enneagram types and Instinct stackings
    - third page for adding and commenting on self-typings
    - last page for doing any statistical calculations

Please contact ClownsandEntropy if you would like to get your own column on this spreadsheet.

Yea I don't care if you mess around, just don't delete anyone's typing

also if you want to comment a cell do insert > comments

Edit: I'm adding a new sheet -- the third sheet, its going to be "bathroom wall" the concept is the same as a bathroom wall, put whatever you want there.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

I like this idea because everyone can get involved. So many of these threads/exercises usually only involve the most known/popular members.

    Kick ass!!

I was on there with poli, Analyst Trevor, and Megadoomer; it was awesome as hell when we were typing at the same time, converging on some typings, splitting on the others...

I don't mean to criticize you but your spreadsheet, lol, would be better if you used a definite nomenclature ie: Ni-INTj, Ti-ESTp, not Fi-EII, etc... etc.. not both, just one or the other.

I can easily write a script in two seconds to standardize it once I download it locally into excel.

I think its best for now to have very little rules, about the only rule (which I'm not going to bother enforcing) is to not delete someone else's work/typings

Someone called "DOOD" showed up and started typing "bum", "turd", "******", and stuff in the type list, and now everything got deleted and vandalized, the motherfucker... I saved the page just in the nick of time, I hope all the info is backed up...

Hell yes there is! at least there is for the former - I got the relevant files uploaded already, one's a straight up .html thing, the other is a bunch of stuff in a .zip file, I don't know how to work it, but someone here does...

    Some screenshots of the vandalism:

This looks like the handiwork of NewBornSTAR

If you can hear me from here, know that this won't be an effective way of destroying the socion, this will make people rally that much harder for it. Boredom, stagnation, things like that... those are the biggest threats to it here, and as usual, you just got rid of a lot of that stuff

Just checked... 7 downloads for the .html file, and 3 downloads for the .zip file. Things are backed up safe and secure, and they'll continue to be backed up safe and secure as this project goes forward, and trust me, it will

What an asshole, thanks for the quick thinking and saving it.

EDIT: It's gone again. I'm afraid some idiots in this community are not responsible enough to handle this type of system. I think we need an extra registration for people who are interested in showing their typings. And we need a wikipedia-like restoring option for the spreadsheet.

Even if the first try failed, please don't let this idea die. This would finally be a central table of all the community typings instead of all the individual lists of particular members. And as HLD already said, we could also evaluate it much easier in this way.

As far as I'm concerned you all can regulate it amongst yourself. If you can find a way to punish/ban/block offenders please do tell.

Just a hint though, its probably inevitable that some people will attempt to vandalize this a lot upfront, if you realize this will only get boring for them after a while and save progress as it is made, eventually this will die down.... once that stage is achieved you only have to worry about occasional vandalism, which can be prevented by periodic backups. People do this kind of thing for attention, simply ignoring it and consistently reloading things from backups will fail to give them the attention they crave and they will go elsewhere looking for it.

If things don't seem to do better in a few weeks or a month, I can always make another spreadsheet and circulate it within a closed group or investigate a more robust system -- which I would prefer not to do.

lol so THAT'S who I was spamfighting with
But, for a certainty, back then,

Cool idea! I'll... I don't exactly have a "plan" here, I'll just keep on pushing through until things work out

Apparently, if I save the .html file, I can salvage it via Gnumeric, clean it up, make a .csv file of it, and Google Docs will accept the .csv file; now that I know that, it should take 15 minutes to do if/when it happens again...

I haven't tried it yet, but can't you just save the whole table as office (microsoft or open office) file and reupload it by importing it in the blank spreadsheet? That would make it extremely easy. It looks like that would be possible.

    Poli color-coded his by quadra

    Alpha - yellow
    Beta - red
    Gamma - blue
    Delta - green

By the way, I updated the batcave! everything's backed up as of a half-hour or so ago, so if your typings got mauled by vandals, they should be saved there...

I saved a local copy as well....

I'm working on a universal translator, so I can standardize your formats via a script in excel.

For example ILE, ENTp, Ne-ENTp, Ti-ENTp etc etc etc will all be read as an 1 bin for ILE typing

INXj will be read as 0.5 bin for LII and 0.5 bin for EII

stuff like "is an ass" will be considered a "unique typing" I will include these in statistic reports....
