by news, I probably mostly mean featured articles
most of my news comes from local TV news or facebook; i've "liked" all the local news channels, and I also subscribe to a lotta tech/entertainment sites like PC World, Engadget, TechCrunch, Maximum PC, PC Gamer, IGN, etc. I also read a few psychology blogs maintained by professionals.
Facebook, Youtube, deviantART, various forums. I also tend to google random things I read or hear and then end up on wikipedia and go on really weird wikipedia journeys.
