so now i get to see the flamming section and lurk in the chatbox. i'm so excited! and i'm labeled an "initiate," which sounds all grand and mysterious or something like i'm going to learn the secrets of some underground society.

i have a habit of becoming bored and disillusioned with forums after i actually start posting in them. so i'm thinking this might cure my compulsion to type in the 16 types url every time my browser opens. and if it doesn't, well then at least my activity might make my visits more useful, or something.

i'm EII-Ne, learned about socionics via looking up MBTI stuff. and..yeah.

thanks. i've been lurking long enough to have a general impression of who everyone is but i don't want to assume too much about people i've never actually interacted with so i plan on playing it by ear and not letting my impressions dictate too much, as far as that is actually possible. the question isn't really whether i'll become disillusioned - cos i know it's not always going to be peace and harmony, blah blah - but whether it will be enough to end my compulsion to visit this place. we'll see how it goes.
