a cake pop sounds seriously disgusting. And skittles are gross (to me) too. Those Cadbury mini eggs are like drugs though. Seriously. You can FEEL the sugar pulsing through your body. And addictive too. more more more more more I can't eat just one.
I like other stuff too like solid dark chocolate and Godiva truffles and Fannie May mint meltaways. But they're easier to resist than these silly eggs. A friend of mine in college got me hooked. When she first made me try one, I was SURE I wouldn't like them. But I was wrong.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. I do like sour patch kids and swedish fish. Sorry I posted this under the wrong subform, initially! I didn't realize we had a "food and cooking" section! ha
I think that Cadbury chocolate is amazing. It's very smooth. Much better than Hersheys or Nestle for sure. And the candy coating isn't gooey, it's kind of like M&Ms. *shrug* what's not to like? I'm NOT talking about the GOOEY CADBURY EGGS. Those are DEFINITELY disgusting. But the mini eggs, as in the photograph above, are COMPLETELY different. FYI. Nothing gooey whatsoever.
I tried these recently ... the fizzling they make in the back of the throat if you swallow a few is very addictive

I go through phases--I'll eat something I like and be addicted to it for a few days, then get sick of it, move on to the next.
dark chocolate, nothing too sugary. I'd rather eat fruit covered in dark chocolate any day over store bought candy.

I really like spiced pumpkin muffins.
I saw a bumper sticker today that said "If I die, I want it to be Death by Chocolate" and I literally pictured someone like eating a bunch of chocolate cake, grabbing it up with their fingers, like mud and getting it all over their mouth without shame, until their belt at their waste breaks and there stomach bulges out and they lie on their back having trouble breathing as the half digested cake makes its way back up to their throat because there intestines are so packed with chocolate.... it didn't seem like a great way to go.
