Default a thought about EJ temperament

Most people think that EJs are extremely energetic all the time. That's not true. EJs are just as passive as your average melancholic or phlegmatic. We chill out and we procrastinate...

...except when it's about something important. Then we don't really run out of energy to get stuff done. But everyone would be energized for the right cause. Except EJs have plenty more "right causes" compared to other people. IP says, "chill, it's not important" and EJ says, "It is important. We gotta do it. Really! We must!"

But the rest of the time EJ is just like IJ or IP.

Nah, I'm not passive at all, I'm very energetic, however the things I do I don't really feel like they're right causes. It's things I like and enjoy and find that will be useful for me in the long term (usually, a mix of the tree).

Doing "important" things is not my style, often "important" things are boring.

I sometimes find it very "important" to finish world domination in Civilization 4. It feels very very important.

and I always said you don't sound at all LIE to me.

If EJ is similar to IJ or IP in other occasions in which they are not acting in EJ fashion, should we not expect the IJ to act like EJ and EP or the IP like EP and EJ as well? If EJ can act or behave much like other temperaments, then to what extent are the temperaments binding or descriptive of behavior?

EJ's are called energetic because they have the cognitive feeling of always doing something.

Because the essence of EJ is "doing".

Even if D- : for example, a 0+- LIE will always feel the need to do something, but never anything useless. They always do things for - reasons. Their behaviour looks active, but simplified. I know a 0+- LIE girl who pretty much looks like an automat.

But if the LIE was 00+, he'd feel that doing a max of things would be a way to make profit.

How does LSE + compare to this information. How are + actions different from -?

Civ 2 was always the best. Always. Civ 4 is too time consuming and you die to easily. You have to micromanage too much shit; it never does stuff on its own. Where once I could rip across the world with one hundred howitzers and a few fighter jets and nukes I now need a proper army, and can move like one square a turn or something.

and I always said you don't sound at all LIE to me.
Fabio is a classic example of an SEE. And I love him all the more for it.

Well the word like has much greater variety of functional use in different parts of speech than the word enjoy. But the word like in a similar context as enjoy has less of a degree and is more of a disposition or preference towards something. "We liked the meal we had." "You can do as you like as long as you are here." "Would you like some coffee?" Enjoyment is clearer in its emotional degree and is accompanied by happiness. There is a good deal of separation between the statements "I enjoy eating pie" and "I like eating pie." One gives a sense of emotional state while eating pie, while the other again acts more as a preference or disposition towards eating pie. The difference between the emotional state when eating pie versus the relationship between the person and eating pie can almost be seen as the difference between an statement versus and statement.

That is only my guess at least.

They both have possible first names embedded within them,
but only one actually has your name in it, Joy.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.
If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

~an extraverted consciousness is unable to believe in invisible forces.
~a certain mysterious power that may prove terribly fascinating to the extraverted man, for it touches his unconscious.
