Funny WiFi stories
Everybody has one. From incredible passwords to random access in the oddest place, I've heard the weirdest stories and I'm curious what you've experienced.
I'll start out with what popped up in my networks recently:

My bro has the control over the wifi distribution, so to speak.
He can "block" my connection, or make it worse in favor of him having better connection.
So usually, when he's home, my connection goes to sh*t more or less.
And there's not much I can do about it. He needs a better connection for his games, end of story.
So whenever my wifi goes worse, and I tell him to improve my connection, he just denies he changed it.
Then I'll be like "I am gonna cut the wifi completely!" But it is just words. I never actually do it...
It is not really a funny story. But that's the one I can tell.

To be overly specific, he's ILE-Ti So/Sx 7w6 (783).
See what I mean. I got an E7 brother as well, can't ever get enough for himself. Okay, then his ultimate enemy is ESI 1 Sp/Sx. Strategy: throw him into an identity crisis through coldly moralizing how seizing resources is wrong and interpersonally shitty, how it cuts off democratic opportunities, all while installing YOUR OWN GAME STATION* to selfishly steal it back & make him experience how it feelsHe will start sharing it properly the more you conquer it yourself, it plays his egocentricity the right way
Ignore his blaming, it's empty and useless. Say "why do you hate your sister, this is not fun" (aka, pretty much the truth) as a reply to make him rethink his ethics.

Realistically speaking, it takes less guts, ill will, and hassle to hand him a burger so that route is yours.That sounds like a less hurtful alternative.

I once had SSID naming fun with someone:
SSID was I'm watching
I changed mine: You can't see...
Later it changed: I can see you...
then it disappeared and game stopped.
Now mine is: liberation front of amoebas
I live in a country where 4G/3G is like a dream compared to many others. It is cheap and unlimited (when you pay about 25 €/month includes unlimited phone calls and text messages). So I tend to tether to my laptop from my phone when I'm outside of home or specific place. Basically the regulation that companies have to obey is: You better deliver it everywhere in vicinity of people. 4G speed is more than enough for me if I have to resort to it.
Few years back I used tease my sister with ssh. For example I took ssh connection to her laptop and started to play music (which was far from her taste)...
It is also fun to link printers to Google Cloud printer and unexpectedly "fax" people some messages.
100/100 Mbit/s good WiFi box so no problems.
Now I have gotten new ideas. As I tend to use custom firmware in routers, I could start to mindf*ck people but not applicable in this country. @Medusa, you should hint your brother that he should do bit more router magic.
